You know those businesses where they make the most mundane transactions something you genuinely look forward to? Ridge Road Dry Cleaners exemplifies this type of business. The very first time I walked in, I was greeted by a very nice older lady, who I believe is probably the owner. She asked me when I needed my suit by—a great question that I have never been asked by a dry cleaner before. She engaged in some friendly small talk (very funny too, with a great sense of humor) and offered me a bottle of water and two Tootsie Rolls on my way out.
I recommend this business to every person I know, and I recommend it to you too. While I would be lying if I said I could speak to the quality of the dry cleaning itself—I’m just not well-versed in what good vs. bad looks like; it’s just something that gets done. That said, I know for a fact the level of care put into customer service has to extend to the garment cleaning itself. People who take pride in what they do like that generally extend that effort to everything they do.

The woman who does the alterations is fabulous she does such an outstanding job on everything I have ever given her including my Wedding Dress ? over 20 years ago. I need alterations on anything at all DRESSY that I buy cause I'm only 5'2" tall and everything is to long on me.??

I have been looking for an honest and competent dry cleaner for almost a decade. I am so grateful to have finally found this one!! My clothes always come back in pristine condition. Stains removed even stains caused by other dry cleaners believe it or not!! They are super sweet people and are honest to the core. One time we accidentally left a substantial amount of cash in a pocket and they returned it to us. I wish I could give this place 10 stars.

I brought a long elegant dress to be tailored and pressed here. I have to say they did an amazing job. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and funny. She had great customer service. I will be a repeat customer.

This is my go-to dry cleaning place in my neighborhood. The owner is so nice and always makes sure to make me feel welcome when I come in. From hemming pants, dress alterations, and regular dry cleaning-- they do a great job and my clothes are always ready pretty quickly. Highly recommend for anyone in the Lyndhurst/ North Arlington area.

I stopped by and gave my code to them to see if they would just clean it for me it’s a $350 Northface and the woman on the counter told me that she can’t give me a price on it she has to wash it first and then she can give me a price I have never heard something like this so absurd in my life I’m not sure why this was said but it’s very confusing to me I’ve been using cleaners for over 35 years from New York to New Jersey and I have never been told this ever in my life , she was nice , but I’m so confused.

This is my new go to for my clothes. They have cleaned and altered many of my items. Alterations for me are especially important and they have knocked it out of the ballpark every time. Not to mention they are super sweet, kind people and honest.Service: Alterations
