Techniques to sharpen blade and use whetstones differ person to person. Korin is the kind of place which is instrumental and educational. I once forgot to order disposable materials (Teppo Gushi) for service and was overly glad that they were open at 9AM. Either as a "Prosumer", Industry Professional, or just an enthusiast? Korin is worth a visit. Their Whetstone collection is something Always worth browsing.”
