Expect them to not deliver or pick up on the dates you request. Expect it to be delivered to your neighbors house too. Yes it happened.Once they decide which dates suits them, they will show up when they want. A time frame which they give is never accurate. If they show at all.Expect your property to be damaged as well and never receive compensation.

Everything was great, but I only gave 4 stars because the delivery driver wouldn't position the POD like I asked, with door facing house.

My pod wasn’t delivered on the date scheduled. The timeframe was set from 2:30-5:30. When 5:30 came I called customer service and was told he had no idea what had happened to the container and that it was too late in the evening to contact the store that was scheduled to deliver. I understand that things happen that can cause delivery issues but as the customer I should have been contacted to let me know there was a delivery issue. As now I needed to reschedule movers.

When things go according to plan, PODS seems to be a helpful option. Be careful to have your POD delivered on a Friday (if they miss Saturday delivery, it wont show up until Monday). Things went downhill after my POD was not dropped off and Customer Service reassured me that PODS would fix things in my favor. I had to rent a truck on a Sunday bc the POD did not deliver. I still needed the POD and started an official dispute with them to resolve some of my costs. After the dispute I felt unheard and I was left paying more than expected, hoped for a larger discount on the disappointing service, and had to move all the items a 2nd time (once the POD delivered).

Absolutely terrible! I waited all day for my container which was prepaid and was promised multiple times that I would receive my POD that same day after many phone calls. I had family members at my home to assist me with filling the POD. I received a call at 2pm telling me that I would not receive my POD and my order was rescheduled to the following Monday because of a truck breakdown. So you have only 1 truck??? Terrible! Terrible!! Will NEVER use again!!

The POD was delivered on time and picked up in a timely manner as well. Driver contacted me prior to both to give me the time they would be arriving! All associates were friendly and professional!

This location of PODS just as others have described it before me is terrible and needs to be driven out of the State and not allowed to do any business here. I will definitely lobby this idea to a city council and the residents. Their customer service is horrific if one can even call it a customer service.I have prepared my driveway for days, cutting down tree branches, bushes and clearing the space that was required for a POD drop off. A driver was late than his expected time was specified and he did not even get out of the truck or attempted to unload the POD. He sat on his ass inside the truck and said that he cannot drop the POD closer to the rear of the house. I have a shoe shape driveway and he was planning to block my driveway and drop off the POD almost on the street. I said that it is absolutely not possible. So, he just drove away. I took a day from work to assist in a drop of in any way possible but their drivers do not care and do not want to do their jobs. And on the initial invoice they were trying to charge me additional $50 for dropping the POD on an unpaved surface when I specifically stated in the intake form that all of my property is paved. Do not be fooled, the quote that they give you does not include taxes that they charge for every single item, including a delivery itself. So, for renting 16' long container they would have charged me $375/ per month. I went ahead and bought a 20 ft shipping container from a town near by for only $63/ per month on a rent-to-own basis. Not only it was much bigger than their POD but I saved 6 times the money that they were going to charge me.

PODS would not honor a promotion for my account because I was an existing customer. Even after contacting Customer Service, I was still denied. It was a material difference in the amount I paid vs. what I would have been charged under the promotion. It would have been a 5 star review if that would have been handled properly.

Perhaps like many we were first apprehensive of the mixed reviews of PODS on Yelp, but good reviews from friends and 30% discount from PODS on the three containers we rented were the deciding factors. We were very satisfied with the services that we have received: the PODS were delivered on time, time windows were communicated clearly via website, drivers called 30 mins prior delivery and pick up; the drivers were polite, patient and professional. The PODS were clean and in excellent condition. The PODS arrived from CA to NJ on time, according to schedule. Drivers helped us position the PODS in our driveway so that the unloading was the easiest. All our belongings arrived secure and not a single thing was broken or missing. Based on our experience, we would use them again and recommend this service.

Worst service ever. Don't bother using this PODS. I ordered my pod and was done with it and no one is coming to pick up pods. Can't get thru customer service or location it was dropped off from. I have call more than 5 times and escalated and still no one is picking up my POD. Don't use them. Find something else better.

I would not recommend this company as if you need to submit a claim, your claim is totally ignored. I've been trying for a month to get a claims rep to talk to me. We had an issue with their driver who couldn't back a truck up my driveway. After serving back and forth he ended up tearing up both edges of my driveway. Even after submitting video of the driver backing up and photos of the damage I've got no response from the company. Left voice messages and email with claims rep and no response. Even contacted rep' supervisor and no response. Repair cost me over $8,000. The actual move went fine but if you have a claim be prepared.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is the most unprofessional moving company I have dealt with. They failed to communicate with me regarding delays in delivery. I called customer service multiple times and was given new delivery windows at each call. However on my last call, they said they had an invalid phone number to reach me and could not access the drop off point. My phone number is valid as I confirmed it with the customer service team each time I called. I was sitting at the drop off location all day and never saw them. This company is ridiculous and have liars working there. Now I have to reschedule the moving team to another day and they are losing business for the day. Do not use this company

I spoke to one Gentleman and had one deliver the pods (wish I could recall his name) and KENNY picked up, moved then picked up and took it back to your yard and these three Gentleman were the nicest, most understanding and PROFESSIONAL employees as could be. All three are a CREDIT to your company !

I was able to schedule the POD easily. The pick-up & drop off dates were flexible. I was able to load my whole household in the POD at my own pace. Once I was finished, the POD was picked up and delivered within two weeks. Then I was able to unload it at my own pace. The drivers were friendly and helped me beyond their job expectations. While I do not plan to move any time soon, I would certainly use PODS again.
