THERE DELI IS HORRABLE. I GET RIPPED OFF HERE EVERY TIME. THE DELI MEAT IS FREQUENTLY GREEN AND MOLDY SOMERTIMES IT TASTES LIKE PINE SOL. OTHER TIMES THEY GIVE YOU THE END AND ITS NASTY. THEY DID IT TODAY, I JUST WALKED AND WENT TO A BETTER DELI. I SHOPLIFT HERE TO MAKE UP FOR IT AND GOTO STOP AND SHOP FOR DELI

Nice store but spelling on signage is awful. Despite telling them twice in the store that the STATIONARY aisle ( the stand still aisle) should be STATIONERY - remember E for Envelope! No change has been made....

Just encountered the rudest cashier ever at this ShopRite, she was rude for no reason whatsoever. Having a bad day, just don’t talk to your customers.

I usually shop at World Class Shop Rite this one is way subpar in comparison. From the parking lot all the way to meat and produce.

I have been doing my weekly shopping here for years. Last Sunday I bought a bag of organic avocados. All 4 were completely rotten! I placed them in a zip lock bag and brought them to the customer service desk this morning with my receipt. The representative said the sku didn’t match and only offered me less than half of what I paid. I asked to speak to a manager, who then preceded to tell me that I switched the avocados and was trying to cheat since avocados sold by the bag don’t have stickers. I was extremely insulted and outraged. I simply wanted my full refund. Now I will never shop at this store again.

Another great ShopRite, stopped in on the holiday weekend for emergency allergy meds. Got everything I needed. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

**Update-- went to the store today, 5/1, exchanged for another brand. All good.
Always have great experience here. However, I bought this strawberry jam today, 4/30, opened it （lid was properly sealed cuz I heard a pop when I twisted it open), and I saw mold.......expiration date on the jar is 10 Nov, 2026. Very disappointed.

It takes a while to get used to the layout, and shelves could be stocked a little more consistently, but this ShopRite feels like home if you’re living in Long Hill. Bakery and healthy food option section is great, overall selection is good, prices are reasonable (not for everything - k cups can be brutal - but there are frequent deals if you aren’t in a rush), flowers are wonderful when the timing is right. And the seasonal items out front (rock salt and firewood in winter, mums and pumpkins in fall) are welcome. Staff is also super friendly for the most part.

I go out of my way to shop at this store, that’s how good the selection is. It gets crowded but it’s never overwhelming during peak hours.
