“I was a new customer when I arrived seeking repair or possibly replacement of a tire whose pressure had dropped fast. A friend recommended Mavis -- in the past I had been loyal to a small tire business, but the owners sold it and I didn't like my customer experience with the new owners ("the wait could be hours; we may need you to leave your car here for a day or two...."). I went on to the Mavis website and to my surprise (1) they had a super-easy online appointment scheduling system, (2) appointments were available immediately, and (3) I made the appointment on the spot. My car was taken in right away. Aside from how much time it would take for the repair, my other concern was whether I would get an honest assessment which my prior vendor had always given. I should not have worried. The tire had a nail in it and needed a patch. Mavis could easily have sold me a new tire (how would I know), but they told the truth and charged me $25 for the repair, when I had expected to shell out a whole lot more. Service was friendly, fast and so easy. I am now a Mavis customer!”

“This Goodyear is the best. I showed up at 7:45 with a piece of metal in my tire. I was traveling from Eatontown to North Carolina. Juan(service Mgr.) took me in at7:45. Three techs worked on my Dodge Van replacing two tires and replacing the temp spare back underneath the vehicle. I was out and on the way home by 9:00. “Had my oil changed at Mr Tire in Middletown a couple of weeks ago. Noticed a few oil drops on my driveway and brought the car back in this morning. Andrew promptly snugged up the drain plug after installing a new gasket even though that is not the likely cause of the leak. He also cleaned up around the valve cover gasket and determined that was also not the cause. There was some oil on the back of the engine which may have been from a small spill in the refill on the last change. Andrew cleaned it up and sent me on my way. I will continue to check for further leaks although I don’t think there will be any. I was in and out in 15 minutes at no charge. As I have only recently moved to Middletown, I think that I have found my new repair shop. Nice job, Andrew!”

“Do yourself a favor and take your car to Matt for the most honest mechanic you will find. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and tells me what needs to be done now and what can wait. For context: I have a 2007 Volvo with 135k miles on it and it runs very well. I hope to get another 135k on it! I feel safe in my old car knowing that it is fully evaluated every time I bring it in.”
“I would like to give 10 stars if I could. Matt's shop truly saved my family from being stranded in NJ on Monday night with my family of 5 and mom. We called at 5pm stating what was wrong with my car after finding out there was no oil in it. They stated they would look at it but not guarantee. When we got there they quickly put it in the garage and started working on it. They stayed after closing just to fix it. They are great people got us home and van is running great now. “A real professional mechanic, highly recommended, not anyone who fix something called mechanic, but Michael he's the best one out there, I had a problem with my hybrid car and it's something hard to fix , I took it to 2 different mechanics and they said they couldn't do it, and the dealer said it's a big job it might take 2 weeks to fix it. Here michael did it in one day and the car is good now, hybrid system works perfectly. Thank you michael”

Amanda and the team were very courteous and professional. Tire rotation, balance, and alignment improved my truck's ride significantly. They noticed my lug nuts were swelling and informed me I should have them replaced before my next appointment, saving me a costly repair down the road. Worked an event in Neptune to load up and start my drive home after a long day. Realized that the warning light was on for one of my tires. I pulled over to see I had a nail in the sidewall. I know this was a bad situation as it was about 5:30 and a quick Google search showed a lot of places closed at 6 including Mr. Tire.
I told him my situation and they asked me to come in. When I got there 20 minutes later, they were ready to help me out and stayed extra to help me out.
I am very grateful as I probably would have blown a tire trying to drive home. Thank you Mr. Tire!

“My daughter, a new driver, was way overdue for an oil change and had a long drive the next day.
Apparently, most "while you wait" oil change shops don't work on Mini's. After being turned down at 3 places, we stopped at Pep Boys. Not only did they do the job, they were quick & super friendly. The guy at the counter scanned a $20 off coupon for me, and then gave me a voucher for a $25 Visa gift card. Even without the $45 savings I'd go back just because they were so friendly and were willing to work on my daughter's car.”

“These guys are great. Took our car to them twice now. They get the job done, and they're HONEST. I can't believe I met an honest mechanic. My girlfriends Camry blew an alternator fuse. They could have lied and said it was something other than a 30 min job, but they didnt. $40 and it was fixed. Their prices are great, and if something doesn't need to be replaced, they'll tell you. I highly recommend them.”
