This company is absolutely horrible; I see others experienced the same thingI did. He quoted me 655, stating what supplies he would probably used which could have brought the price up to $800...He wrapped everything over and stated he used 32 rolls of tape. We already had out stuff wrapped and packed. Charged us for tolls and broke all my expensive china. A whole box of glasses were broke except two and the box was labeled with red and yellow tape stating "fragile-Glass". They stopped to eat and had the nerve to tell us we were running over our allocated time. Was told there would be 3 movers and it was only Alex and another guy. Before he started moving my stuff off the truck he said I owed him $1199. I asked how in the hell did he come up with $1199 and he showed me all the things he charges me for. I charded $25 for 3 so called crates, which were only and box flattened and bubble tape. I told him I didn't ask you to do any of that. You should ask before assuming people have monies to pay you for additional charges. Held my stuff hostage and said he will put in storage if I don't pay the full amount. I was 23 Short of the $1199 and he wouldn't accept the short. What an a-hole. I told him God don't like ugly and he is one of the ugliest people I've ever met. Didn't even want to give him 1 star

Very questionable business practices. They'll quote you at a lower price then when they are halfway done with your move and they request full payment AND tip (I left 25%).When unloading my $2,000 couch they literally dragged it across the pavement causing scuffing and ripping on the corners because they poorly wrapped it. They offered to pay me $50 but would keep the couch. They dropped boxes clearly labeled fragile and rushed through the rest of the job. And to top it all off, I bought everyone pizza and they left crumbs all of the kitchen and floor and charged me for the half hour that it took them to eat. Of course they wrote up the hours and bill after they ate the food.

SCAMMER ALERT!!! I have arranged these movers and we made an agreement for 10 hours of work for $2180. I gave him a list of everything in the house and that was the price Alex gave me. (The guy in the white t-shirt, stay away from him at all cost). They especially worked very very slowly to increase the hours, they unnecessarily wrapped everything, they added the extra packing stuff at the end of the day, and increased the price to $4400. They damaged our garage door, it will not close properly anymore, they damaged the thermostat switches, they damaged the dining room chairs, and they left so much trash in the house. Afterward investigating them online realized they did this scam to everyone, they start with a price and then double the amount, total scammers. If you are looking for a scammer moving company, go ahead and work with them, you will regret it.

Warning Warning!!Don’t believe the first quote you get from Tiger moving company, Alex the person who gives you the quote is a lier. He will double the price on the day of the move. I was quoted $770, my final price was $1592.They wouldn’t unload the truck unless I pay them and all in CASH!They used so much of their materials, tapes, etc.. to add additional cost to my bill.The owner/manager is a lier, Do not recommend this mover at all.

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY!! The owner Alex is a con artist and scammer. My elderly dad needed movers and was quoted a reasonable price for the move. HOWEVER, our experience was tortious. They state in the contract a $155 packing material cost and charged us over $800!! On top of that, they were hours late and refused to move anything in plastic bags with NO statement of that prior. They excessively wrapped (already wrapped items) in dirty old blankets and used 32 THIRTY-TWO rolls of tape. They charged us $500 for wrapping and carts $250 for TAPE and yet over 15 of our items they moved arrived broken. We were required to move over 40% of our belonging ourselves and they held our belongings hostage in the truck until paid $2000 when we were quoted $800! I called to discuss this with Alex and tried to work with him as what he is doing is unethical. He was incredibly dismissive, unwilling to listen, lied, and incredibly rude. He threatened to hang up on us and said it was our fault and he is not willing to work with us at all. I am flabbergasted that a human can lack such integrity and have no morals.

I was quoted a price of $360 for two men at $90 an hour for four hours. They start packing up my furniture and blankets and tape and I told him I didn’t need it wrapped because the furniture wasn’t that good but they said liability reasons force them to wrap it. They sent three men at $110 an hour and charge me for 4 1/2 hours. Added an extra $223 for blankets and tape and an extra $50 to plastic wrap my mattress and box spring even though I told them that I didn’t need anything wrapped. They wouldn’t unload the truck until I gave them double the price of $720. I didn’t have enough money on me so they held my mattress and box spring in their truck until I went to the ATM to get them the rest of the money or they were gonna put my furniture in their storage. I was really scammed. In addition to all of this $50 of it was sales tax and in New Jersey there is no sales tax on Transportation moving!!!

Tiger Moves from Lodi is a scam. My initial quote was $360 and my final bill was $720. They insisted on wrapping my furniture and blankets in tape and plastic wrap which I said I did not need because my furniture was old. When they went to unload they gave me the new bill which was double of my estimate and wanted cash. They would not unload my furniture until I gave them the cash. Since I didn't have that much money I had to go to the ATM and they held my mattress and box spring hostage till I returned with the balance due. Their website says packing materials are available at an additional cost but nowhere does it say they are mandatory And nowhere on their website are the prices listed for the additional items . Also I was charged $50 in sales tax and there is no tax on moving in New Jersey! I have turned them over to the Better Business Bureau snd the division of community affairs so this does not happen to other people.

Horrible. Charged me More than doubled the original quote amount 394, and then came out to 1600. Yes I understood they had to drive to another location but the whole trip took 8 hours then they charged me an extra three for going to the second location even though it was included in the original time. They did not explain their protocol at all so some of my stuff was left behind, they didn’t tell me additional fees that could be added and wouldn’t leave leave my apartment until they got the whole 1600. The work they did do was fine but they definitely had a lot of hidden fees

Please stay FAR away from this company. They are very shady and deceitful. Similar to others who have left reviews, my $330 quote magically jumped to $1300 the day of the move. They charge $6 PER ROLL for the cheapest tape I’ve ever seen. Claimed to have used 19 full rolls ($114), even though I found at least 10 that were still 90% full. They also left one of my belongings on the truck and suggested I drive an hour to retrieve it. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!

Save your money. They don’t care about your stuff. They damaged my expensive bed and won’t even care to repair. They left my coffee table unassembled and lost so many parts. Quite said 700 and final cost was 1500. Number 1 movers to make your moving experience the worst. I regret contacting them

horrible. Quoted $500 and charged $1200. They used all their materials that I really didn’t need. They were careless with carrying furniture. They also took cigarette breaks frequently and were over two hours late. Never again.

The movers themselves were fine but we were quoted $440 over the phone which is why we went with them and they disclosed it was extra for tape and blankets if we needed it but then they just started using all their materials when we didn’t need and then charged us $1100 at the end due to using 17 rolls of tape even though we taped everything thoroughly and furniture blanket rent.Way more than double the price over the phone. do not go with them.

The worst movers ever,we had an appointment at 2pm they came at 2.40pm.Then they unloaded up to 3am and couldn't fix anything. The initial flat rate was supposed to be $940 and he gave is a bill of $1585.Theg waste alot of time talking and doing nothing. IWe spent the night awake .I wish I could give th Zeeo points.They charge wrapping, tolls andMuch more that they do not include when negotiating but will include it in the final bill
