Went to my Livingston NJ branch of Wells Fargo for assistance learning how to wire money using the WF app. Marky Picard was so very nice and helpful and I appreciated his assistance and kindness so much!

I went in before work to make a deposit. Usually I do it through the machine. It was bot busy at all. When the lady offered to assist me, I walked up and gave my info. She then asked, "So Nicole, is there anything else I can help you with?" This is my biggest pet peeve. I hate when I go into a business or call over the phone and the worker calls me by my first name as though we are friends.

I haven't had any issues with this particular branch, although they have been super pushy at times when trying to get me to sign up for their credit cards, loans, etc. They likely get some type of commission and their stats improve for the region based on how many upgrades, etc. they can manage, but I am not into being sold up like that. I know it can work, particularly when customers don't frequent the Internet or would like to have someone take the time to speak with them and explain things, but I don't fit that demographic. Thus, I recommend just making it super clear that you are aware of your options, and will consider them if necessary in the future on your on accord if you also don't want to be pushed into something you don't want. Otherwise, I have been a loyal Wells Fargo customer (forced because of the Wachovia acquisition - haha) for almost fifteen years. I have fared fine at this branch and think it is fairly comparable to all other Wells Fargo bank branches -- but I do notice that they tend to profile other customers. I do not appreciate this and think it is intolerable so I have deducted a couple stars for both that and for the pushiness.

Wondering why there is a problem whenever a white customer shows up. Happenes all the time. Drop of power? Same problem inside at pleasant valley way in west orange. Disgusting. Time to find a smaller bank..

I just opened an account about a month ago and have had nothing but issues with this branch. I deposited a paycheck on a Thursday in the ATM. The next morning when checking my account it said that more than half of my paycheck would be on hold until July 8th (two weeks later!) When calling the 800 number and the branch their were literally 6 different explanations given as to why Wells Fargo was holding my money. At 4PM on Friday, i received telephone call stating that it was an ATM issue and if I came in the branch manager would call ATM services to remove the hold because their was nothing wrong with my account. I came in after work, the branch manager did not seem like he wanted to talk to me since he was busy chatting away with people. I was THEN told that it was because of my payroll check and they needed a letter from my company verifying funds. At no point when I was at work was I told this, if I was than maybe it could have been clarified when I got to the branch, but I was told a seventh reason after no one was at my job and I couldn't rectify the situation until Monday. I was also told that any transactions over what was in my account would not be covered. Horrific customer service. I cannot speak for other branches but this branch seriously needs some help and to get on the same page on explaining why a 2 week hold is put on paychecks. Shame on you.
