All management has to do is find stores that people actually shop at and bring them here. Here are some ideas: Target, a revamped Macys, Nordstrom/Nordstrom rack, Bloomingdale’s, revamped Hot Topic, Box Lunch, Ebisu, Miniso, Apple Store, Nike/Adidas, a few toy stores, new restaurants, maybe an arcade or two. Keep existing staples like Barnes and Noble, Bath and Body, Old Navy, H&M, Footlocker. Literally just follow Willowbrook, American Dream, and Short Hills’ concept. This will most likely draw in a younger crowd but at least the higher ups will get to live out their capitalist wet dreams and the locals won’t be bored to death.Or, just turn this place into a community center with small businesses, activities, and lounges. People are yearning for a third place!Or, just turn the property into a Walmart. That would be very iconic of Livingston. Is it really that hard to do any of this?

Is this place going out of business. I'm went on a Sunday at 3pm. There was no one. Most of the stores were shuttered. The ones that were open had no customers. Stalls were left with merchandise and noone selling them. It honestly looked like a scene out of a movie. The one good thing I can say about the mall is there is a little play area for kids.

So sad that online shopping and COVID really affected all of the businesses in Livingston Mall, and around the USA, in general. Unfortunately, I don’t think things will ever be the same, when it comes to shopping at malls in America. Shootings, the fear of another COVID outbreak, Amazon shopping, loss of jobs, remote jobs, etc.…have all contributed to the demise of shopping at malls in America.I don’t even want to share any photos, it’s that bad, even the conditions of the parking lot…

I went to the Livingston Mall yesterday and I'm literally shocked to say the least about how 70% of the stores are gone! Burger King left, and there's only 3 restaurants left (Cinnabon is still holding on). this is such a drastic change for a Mall that used to be packed with shoppers, what happened?? needless to say, I won't be coming back. Newport mall is way better.

The Livingston Mall while still there and they have a lot of stores about 30% of the occupants have left you can still get a good deal there you can still walk around and get food but I don't see them all lasting more than 2 to 3 years from now again still clean place is great clean but they have a lot of lot of empty stores but that's it continue to like subscribe hit that like button and have a great day.

Most dystopian mall experience I've had in a loooong time. 75% of the stores were permanently closed/empty store fronts. It was oddly dark which didn't help...made it feel even more abandoned and creepy. They have signs and advertisements that are months to years outdated. Escalators were broken down...Definitely feels like this mall is on its way out.

Very sad creepy place for shopping or for anything else for that matter. Not one of NJ best malls to say the least.
