Take your money out of this bank and run far away! Many Years ago this Investors branch had fine customer service. We were treated the good old fashioned way a loyal and long-time customer should be treated. This branch has gone way downhill!! First of all their knowledge of simple banking issues such as IRA’s and CD’s is horrendous! And now with the conversion over to Citizens Bank, good luck trying to get any correct information or proper assistance. I cannot begin to state here all the problems we had with: A)trying to get through to the branch on the phone one day after the conversion. B) in person visit and waiting to speak to a branch rep. C) a proper hello and “welcome to citizens bank” as we sat and waited 20 minutes for someone to even look up from their desk. D) the lack of follow up by Nancy whom we sat with for 20 minutes who did not do her job correctly regarding an IRA rate which required a checking account to be open and linked. The rate did not go through properly. She said she would call us back as she was checking on something for us. Never called the whole next day at all. We had to drive to the branch as they barely answer their phones. When she saw my husband, it barely sparked in her head that she was supposed to call him back. No apology. E) saw another rep as Nancy was in with someone else. This young lady opened the checking account needed to get the higher IRA rate. And it had to be linked. After my husband insisted in his inquiry if she linked the 2 accounts, and her YES answer, NOT the case! Once home we checked online banking and the rate was still not correct. Called the 800 # and that rep checked and said the accounts were not linked!!!! Horrible branch representatives!
It was fixed and 2 days later the higher rate on the IRA took effect.
The Livingston branch on Northfield Ave is a joke. Stay away!!

Horrible service. More important to finish paperwork on previous client than to address a new client. Will be leaving this bank completely as soon as I can
