I had posted a disappointed review prior to today. But it turned out I had misunderstood the situation and the owner, the older fellow, was wonderful in correcting it. Go Karig's Hardware!

Excellent hardware store! Helpful, knowledgeable and great location! Weber grills are a must from here! They do free assembly and delivery.

Today, I stopped by Harig's Hardware during my lunch break to pick up a few items. When I went to pay, I realized I did not have my wallet. I took it out of my purse yesterday and forgot to put it back. When I apologized and said I would have to come back, he said, "don't worry about it...you can call me with the information." He was serious! He bagged my items totaling $50 and handed the bag to me!!! I knew I was good for it, but he didn't. He didn't even take down my information. Instead, he gave me a business card with the total amount of my purchase and his first name. I was floored! I was so moved that I drove all the way home before returning to work (1 hour) because I wanted to be sure to call him asap with my credit card information. Thank you, Dante for being so kind and having faith in me :) You made my day! My faith in humanity has been restored

Wonderful and incredibly well stocked hardware store with old fashioned charm. Friendly service and it was refreshing to hear customers being greeted like regulars. Found items on my list that I could never find at Home Depot or several other places (ie, graphite powder, a brass hose nozzle and a very small can of Rustoleum). Bonus was the old fashioned candy at the front - Reeds, Clove Chewing Gum, Honees and Pecan Rolls - like seeing old friends. Plentiful parking. Definitely returning. :-)

This store although seems small has huge inventory, are always helpful and friendly going out of their way to assure customer satisfaction. I am big believer in supporting local businesses and it is businesses like Karig's that make it easy

Always helpful and they have a huge inventory of items. They are also very convenient to just pop in, get what I need and pop out. I like that I can support local owned businesses.

Thanks to Scott and the team at Karig’s. We placed our order over the phone. They had everything we needed and it was ready to load in the trunk when we arrived. All contactless and safe.

After driving 23 miles on a Sunday morning at 11am the store owner or employee locked the door as I approached to enter. I tapped on the glass thinking maybe he didn’t see me coming and then I heard “we’re closed” SERIOUSLY?? I don’t know why or what type of customer service they practice in this town but I’m very disappointed in the treatment I was just given. Absolutely not sorry for this review!
