They have richly earned their reputation for being rude and unhelpful. After being told a part would be in store in a week or two, and calling after two weeks to be told any day now, later when I contacted them was told order not put through yet. I had not gone there after a similar bad experience years ago, and thought I'd give them another shot-and they failed miserably. Never again

Builders General is the best! We have a personal rep (Peter) who is always a phone call away for all of our needs. He is the best!! Everyone at the counter is super helpful. We go to all of the Builder General locations depending where our job is and everyone is so pleasant, you can really tell it is a family owned buisness. Builders General takes pride in every sale small or large. They are a well rounded buisness down to even to loading materials and deliveries. (Shout out to Jay in Little Silver- he is super helpful!)

Planning kitchen went well. Delivery of cabinets and all related pieces delayed from 14-16 weeks to 20 weeks with allpieces being made in USA (which is now the practice with most American companies). One trim piece bowed and reordered. First replacement picked up at Builder's General to expedite completion of project. Cabinet company sent wrong size. Final piece being delivered next week at the 30 week point. I sure hope it's the right size. Appears to be poor to weak communication with Cabinet company

If I could leave 6 stars, I would. I must say, dealing with Gabriel Isaza throughout my purchasing process these last few months has been nothing but a pleasure. He always went above and beyond to help me. I have never had to purchase building materials before and had NO idea how to buy or install a door, so when I was emailing him with hundreds of questions about measurements, rough openings, door design, and what the terminology on the quotes meant, he was SO patient and answered every single one with a professional demeanor. He got back to me quickly and always asked if I had any more questions. He has made this process easy for me, and I feel truly confident in my purchase. Thank you for hiring kind and helpful people like Gabriel. I will definitely purchase from Builders General if I ever have another need in the future.
