My daughter is considering going to school here and enjoys working out. This is the best facility I've ever seen.

The place is great, it has many amenities like a pool, but the staff is very rude and unhelpful. Especially the front desk. They are more on their phone and do not know how to do more than scan IDs, that's why if you request another type of help like what activities are available, what classes, where are specific amenities, they do not know. They offer memberships for people who are not a student, up to $60 per month. Also, if you are not a student, park in the metered sections to avoid fines.

I don’t know where to begin. I went in 3 times in 5 hours because I was told the manager could help me purchase a pass for the week because i’m not a student but i was here with a camp. all 3 times I went in the manager was nowhere to be found. then some guy who was swimming in the pool told me i couldn’t get a membership because i wasn’t a student despite like 50 teenagers my age working out there. i filled out an application just to BE ABLE TO GET A MEMBERSHIP?! The conversation I had with the people there made me want to pull my hair out. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Rec center looking good. Montclair State upgraded their facility much from when i was younger. Was there on a college tour with my son.

Fantastic place if you don't have a class.There's a gym which is state of the art with all modern equipment. Basketball court if you want to shoot some hoops. There's also a pool if you prefer going for a swim. Best of all there's a gaming section with playstation, Xbox and Nintendo. Basically every one is covered in this place and it's my favorite place in the campus.

They hosted Special Friends Day this year for children with both visible and non visible disabilities and our son had a fantastic time

Very covid safe and they have hourly cleaning procedures which is great. Feels like they have every piece of equipment you need and more. Though they could ease up on the dress code

Loosen Covid restrictions. We already have to workout in masks. I have to show my hawk check then pull out my covid exemption then pull out my covid negative test... not to mention I got rejected today because you need a new covid test every 72 hours... -_-
