I understand it's a busy time for pharmacies and they're understaffed. But this shouldn't allow to be on hold for 1/2 hour and the purposefully hung up on. I had an important question and would have waited an hour if necessary. The store manager practically ignored me when I called back. Save yourselves the headache and go to rahway ave in elizabeth. Most of them are great and they never hang up on you. Wish I could give zero stars.

This location never gives proper informationI called 10 minutes ago asking about passport photos, was told to come in anytime. I go in and see a sign that they can’t do passport photos Bc the machine is down.

I have to say that this is one of THE worst pharmacies around here. You can never get anyone on the phone about your prescriptions. You could have one caller ahead of you and still sit on hold for over 20 mins. Sometimes they will answer and immediately place you on hold only to hang up on you after you've waited so long. It's absolutely ridiculous. My medication was sent to them around 3pm and I still have no medication. It's 10:17 now!! They really don't care about anyone. Switching pharmacies in the morning. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else!!

I'm giving this Particular location the lowest star rating, cause I feel I have no choice, after tonight.I had to refill my daughter's rescue inhaler, and it has been several hours after the doctor called it in,and the recording said they are still working on it.When I called earlier,I had to text the doctor's personal cell number to ask her what was going on with it,cause when I called the store, the woman who answered the phone, said the doctor never called it in.Yet when I texted the doctor she said she did,but they never checked their messages, and that was hours ago.I do not even know if the insurance is even gonna cover it and if it doesn't,now my daughter will even have to wait longer to get the one filled that I can afford. The shelves with all the cold and flu medicines are basically empty and the drive through is closed so I can not even go safely through the drive thru to pick it up,and the line to wait inside,is so long and they are not socially distanced and some of them are not wearing masks. Also,I have been on hold for over 30 minutes, and there are two callers ahead of me.What is going on with this Walgreens.I know it is Covid, but it's reasons like this, that it keeps spreading in the first place.Seriously,I thought you were a reputable pharmacy.Come on,now!

Always understaffed. Regardless of the time or day there is always a long line with not enough workers. What should take 2 minutes in and out can take 20 minutes. Getting someone to tend the photo counter is another struggle.

This is by far one of the worst Walgreens to go to. The lines are always super slow, the staff is extremely slow and God forbid you need to call in. They put you on hold for ever then pick up and hang up on you after being on hold for 20 min. Oh and you better hope there is no dam issue cause getting it resolved is an even worse process. Walgreens headquarters need to take action because cvs is about to win mines and a lot of peoples business because everyone I talk to has the same complaints when it comes to Walgreens they have the worst service!! This place sucks!! Put me on hold 2 times for 5-8 minutes each time to only pick up and hang up on me!! Literally you can hear them answer and then hang up!!

On a line for 17 minutes and then rerouted to another window, more paperwork and then wait again on another line for the shot. Total time 46 minutes (with an appointment) and that's only because picked up my card and I refused to wait after getting the vaccine. Why wouldn't I take the safeguard of waiting? Because it wasn't a safe environment to do it in! I jumped in my car and pulled alongside the firehouse and read for 15 minutes. It's one thing when the occasional customer in the CROWDED back area of the store is not properly masked, but a whole other thing when the pharmacy staff are not, so I wasn't hanging out for another second, never mind 15 additional minutes. My sincerest hope is that someone who has been vaccine hesitant doesn't choose this location.

Horrible!!! I called ahead to ask if my boyfriend's prescription was ready. He had surgery the day before and was in pain. I explained that I was on my lunch break and had limited time. I was told it was ready and could come pick it up. I went to the drive through and with 5 cars ahead of me had to wait 30 minutes without moving up. I called and spent 15 minutes on the phone with managers who said that the delay was due to lunch time. If you are open 24 hours there should be someone there to cover that time. Even the first car in line didn't budge for at least a half hour before I had to leave. Now I have to go back later. The excuse was a poor one, and they had the nerve to tell me that when I asked if it was ready, I got the answer I needed. They should have mentioned that nobody is there at lunch time (not 24 hours now, is it?) Terrible customer service, bad attitude and inept management... NEVER GO TO THIS PHARMACY!!!

I used to live in nearby Roselle so this was my "go to" Walgreens for a long time on my way to the 1-9. For quite some time this was a fairly clean and shiny (somewhat new) Walgreens. However, over the years this location has missed a step or two. Items are (seemingly) not restocked as often, shelves could be more organized (it's not a mess, but sometimes you need an extra few moments to find what you need because it may not be where you expect). Also, almost every time I have gone in the past year there is a person outside asking for money. He is not aggressive, but I find it odd that a store would allow someone to become such a permanent fixture without trying to help him out somehow. The one thing I will say for this location is that the staff is always outstanding. This is only one of two Walgreens I have ever been to where employees have actually come up to ME to ask if I needed help. It happens so seldom my brain sort of freezes when it does because it's such an unusual experience! This is not my "go to" Walgreens, but in a pinch this location will do.

This is the local Walgreen's I go to often. I went here specifically for toilet paper because people are panicking because of the Coronavirus. It is a clean store and everything inside is organized. I was greeted by the cashier when I walked in which was pleasant so early in the morning. I went to the toilet paper aisle and there was barely any left, but there was 2 of the one I wanted and I grabbed it quickly. When I got rung up I got the toilet paper for free because I had points. One real good thing about Walgreen is they allow you to collect points so you can get rewards money towards purchases. Lets say I left a happy camper.

The manager Ida is always helpful when I am in the store. Today she helped me shop for over 200 toys for an upcoming toy drive!
