The hotel/Motel is fine.It is clean enough for me,(the clean staff do their best).
There are options for extended stay, studio and suite are cool,(especially for someone like me trying to get out of Manhattan for a little bit)…perhaps I would check those out later(I enjoy options).
I had lost my id recently and have no interest in going to NYC DMV to try to get it replaced because I am not feeling very strong in spirit right now,so the cash option was VERY APPEALING,I don’t enjoy silly/fussy hotel policies that make things difficult for no reason at all,I just want to check in and mind my business.It was quick and efficient.
Con:Now Customer Service,I am going to give it a 2 star.It might be the area or maybe the type of customers that come here don’t care(unsure) but the customer service is just so nonchalant and this is the second hotel around here I have experienced this issue.The last hotel I gave it a complete zero…here it is not bad,I didn’t have any disrespectful encounters BUT ,it is definitely NOT good.They just don’t care enough and that includes the owner.
Quite disappointing but with a little more effort with the customer service and this place would be really dope.
P.s.if I get kicked out for this not amazing review,I will indicate that here too.
Nearby activities: It is close to a lot of simple shopping opportunities like Target,Marshall’s and the like and the Jersey transit train to Penn station NYC is close so yea
Walkability: Walkability is not good and this is coming for a New Yorker.It is a highway area with poor provisions for pedestrian travel,so folks with kids and elders might be nervous
Noteworthy details: Coffee could be available a little longer.
I get to try the hot tub thing tonight(you have get your own bath soaps and aromatherapy though,they provide nothing.

I like the Hotel and for the price it is pretty resonable. Never had a complaint about staff however, I have had a few incidents when I felt there should have been more supplies in the rooms. Hint: add a few more towels and face cloths. Create a quality control. Shampoo, soap and conditioner goes a long way when it comes to service. To the management or review person..... Its clear that you have a vested interest in these reviews. Professionaly, your responses to the bad reviews should not be so emotional with the hint of sarcasm attached. You will get bad reviews in any business from guest, disgruntal employees, enemies and competition. The key is to rise above and let the good reviews be your response. You have more good reviews than bad.

I came home to visit from out of town and the room was smelling just like a “weed” factory and cigarettes “ just awful.. then the room was switched I noticed a little things that had me on edge”. I sat on the sofa with my head down for a few seconds and next thing you know im itching all on my neck!!! So I jumped up immediately!!! Long story short!! Bed bugs!!! Was on the sofa and the BED!!! My eye was swollen and my hand” good thing I didn’t lay there that long!! I saw the bed bug !!!!! and put it tissue and went to the office!! A refund was given and she apologized and stated they get checked for that weekly!! Idk!! But my experience there wasn’t good and it will be my last! While doctoring myself up ! Extremely upset!!!!!!?

Great place to stay near Newark. Staff was outstanding from shuttle bus driver to front desk to housekeeping. Only knock was the temperature controls... very confusing. Woke up to a stifling 86 degree room!

This is the nastiest dirty motel I ever been in omg dirty smoky never again did I mention it stinks so bad it was hair everywhere in the fridge bathroom tub stink and microwave was filthy and broken plate cigarettes
