As a physician I chose to have Accu Reference to provide us an in office phlebotomist through someone I thought I could trust. There were so many mishandled specimens, lost samples, and general lack of professionalism. Now I am personally being taken to collections for a COVID test that was never performed!! They are doing this to retaliate because we chose Quest as our in house lab. If you have had issues, please report them to the CFPB (consumer financial protection bureau) or the FTC (federal trade comission)!This is the only way the fraud will be stopped!

I would not recommend this company to test fleas! Their staff mishandled and/or switched my drug screen causing my pain management physician to stop my treatment for a chronic life threatening illness! When I called to find out about their testing procedures or gain access to someone in management to see if they still had the sample or if the same person conducted my second screening, I was told they don't speak to the public and hung up on repeatedly. Then after I contacted the administrator from my physician's office, I was informed that they no longer use this lab! No explanation why or if it was because other patients had tested positive for street drugs instead of their prescribed medications! I also had to point out that when they were screening in house, my test were NEVER inconsistent!!!I will definitely be filing a complaint with my insurance and all Governing agency's!

I had no choice in using this lab (it's just where my doc sent the sample) but they've been a huge pain to deal with billing wise. A year ago there was an issue where they billed the claim incorrectly for a routine preventative pap smear that after many, many calls was resolved. It's been over a year since that visit (it was on 12/01/21 and today is 01/03/23) and I just received a bill saying my insurance denied the claim and that I need to pay it. I spent an hour on the phone with my insurance who was speaking with the lab, and come to find out that the only issue was they are billing the wrong primary diagnosis code. They billed a diagnosis code for a disease that I've never been diagnosed with, as the primary, therefore my insurance won't cover it. All they need to do is resubmit the claim (again... this was already resolved a year ago but they RE resubmitted the claim incorrectly) using the preventative diagnosis code as primary. This was for a routine Pap smear and I can't believe I'm still having this issue over a year later. The claim was already paid by insurance when they resubmitted a year ago, but then they resubmitted again with the INCORRECT diagnosis code. Very sketchy.

Never. Never again, and don't recommend anyone this lab. They took my money since two weeks and my doctor can't have the lab results, I'm sick.

The results definitely aren't accurate. I'm sticking to a bigger lab from now on. I took 4 of the same tests in one day. All different labs. This one was the only one that said negative. Don't trust anything.

Never again will i use this lab , they take your money first and you get no test results back. On their page to review your test results all of a sudden they don't recognize you, your e-mail or phone number yet , everyone gives that information first before having any test done so what the heck are they talking about, but i bet they sure do remember my Insurance Company. I tried several days calling their number to speak to a representative only to get hung up on after holding for hours. Tried e-mailing them is a total waste, still have not heard from them. I bet if i make a complaint to my Insurance Company and Consumer Affairs they will remember who i am. Nobody should get paid for no service.

A bunch of liars and frauds. Don't ever get any tests done with this lab. Impossible to get results. Have to wait on hold for over an hour for a representative to finally get on the line that barely speaks English. Then they tell you, they still don't have an access code. Scam

I have had the Accureference Labs testing our dental staff of over 50 employees, biweekly since June 2020. We have been treated with respect and courtesy at all times. Our results are turned over within 24hrs on most occasions and when we have had any questions the team has always been helpful. It's unfortunate that people rush to share bad news but not enough people comment when service is good. Considering they are running thousands of tests, I personally feel they are doing a great job. My team is happy.
