Have stayed here twice. Great location, close to restaurantsandother stores.Rooms good. Only reason I didn't give a 5 was because twice they were out of coffee and items in the foyer, they said they were waiting for supplies. Also the bed were a little too soft and hubby complained too about his back. However it was quiet,they allowed me check in early and hot breakfast was good.Nearby activities: Shopping center nearbyFood & drinks: Nearby restaurants and fast food places -Applebee's, Dragonfly, Burger King, Shoprite has some ready hot meals,

Overall it was a nice hotel in close proximity to a lot of restaurants and stores. If you don’t have a car this is the hotel for you everything is in walking distance. I was a little disappointed that I had to ask for fresh linen 3 times before it was given to me and also there should always be a non -pork option for breakfast. Besides that it was a nice hotel . I would recommend it.

I checked in to the Hampton inn November 6 and 7th. Both times I had to deposit $50 more for the hotel incidental fees twice. After I checked out on November 7. I was told both of $50 that totaled to $100 will be sent back to my card account 3-5 days. Friday arrives I still didn’t have my money deposited back into my account. So I called and got the manager Shacole Greene on the phone who was very rude and used me being loud as an excuse to hang up the phone and tell me she won’t be returning my money back. Although I let her know I took a screenshot of my account balance being back to $6.33 before and after the transaction both times. She also, informed me how I couldn’t take screenshots of the account. My money was never returned to me.

Perfect location the staff was very friendly and helpful The new rooms are excellent except for a few minor upgrades they need to do other than that the place is a great place to stay.

The rooms were very nice and clean but the bathroom was pretty small. They were still nice bathrooms but just small. The STAFF was EXCELLENT the 2 nights I was there, one of the best crews I've seen at a Hilton!!Rooms: Very nice and clean but bathroom was kind of smallNearby activities: There is an airport very close by that also does helicopter tours, so between the helos and the planes landing its a little loud outside in the evening. But, for a NJ hotel just outside of Newark, it's very close to a lot of stores and restaurants with not much traffic considering the location

Hotel just got remodeled.After two avg check in at Hampton Inn this Hampton showed me Hilton has it right with this property. The gal at the front desk was super pleasant and had best smile.The Room is nicely done and clean.Hotel close to everything including Newark airport, without needing to pay Newark airport hotels additional parking fees.Finally, I thank you for having various coffee creamers options :) unlike the other two Hamptons I stayed at during this week trip.My only wish is for Hilton remove the unsanitary pumpers (shampoo, conditioner and body wash).

Horribel stay, I was checked in on 27th oct around 10pm, front desk said somone already check in, I told her i am Travelling from Canada just reached here there should be somthing wrong pls check that out, she said i dont know i will give u the room talk to the manager nextday. mean time around 11.45 pm somone open our room entered in my room, my wife & son scremed then that person said front desk gave this room sorry for the inconveneinec & left.when i call the front desk she said sorry computer error, how it might happen. next day satureday morning i trying to speak to the manager her name is Shicole Green, explain the situation she is very rude & arrogant not listing my story & saying i did wrong. it looks like this lady doing some kind of fraud activity, because she not listining at all shouting at me also threnting to kick me out of the hotel. i told her call the police but she is not do so. then i called Expedia which i booked the hotel thru. they talked to her then she allow to stay.i never experience this kind of rude, arrogant & attitude women in my life. i am not going to stop now, will esclade this matter to Hiton Honor. this Shicole Green has to be investigated. u have camera all over u can check that out what time i came In. hospitallity busines u have to be polite & responsible. this kind of behaviour can not be tolerate, we paid the money & abused by this kind of people has to be investigated by Hilton.

I am pleased to write a review of the front desk executive Pamela who works exclusively at night. This is an extremely difficult task as people are ALWAYS checking in after 4pm and she does it with "white glove" treatment.Always with a smile on her face, she runs the front desk like a magician. Handling not only new arrivals, but also guests like myself, she somehow manages the desk with a personality like a Broadway star.She is a prime example of what is expected of an employee. Hampton Inn should be VERY proud of her ! ! !

Update: today when this hotel was reached out with the inquiry to my stay the person sitting at the desk stated I went straight to the room with my digital key and checked in without checking in at the reception. Which is a BIG FAT LIE, that hotel must be having a camera they can pull up the video of me checking in and staying in the lobby till 2:00am. They are LIARS. I ask Hilton to look into the matter and check there camera footage of Sep 20th time 12:55am- 2:00am.I wish I could give them NO STAR. I’m standing with my 7 yr old son in the Lobby it’s 2:07 am Coming from California. The lady on desk says her rooms are all booked and they have nothing to give us. I reserved the room on sep 1st. I got the confrontation from Hilton that my room is reserved. I checked in 6 hours ago they gave me a digital key with room number 411 fourth floor but when I got in the hotel the lady Nellie say her rooms are fully booked and that their system isn’t set on Wednesday even though she admits that my room is booked for today. She told me to go to any other hotel and that she can’t help me. I asked her to call the manager. She gave me her number to call my self . I called Ms. Green she didn’t pick up I called Derrin he didn’t pick up I left messages. Then Ms Green called the receptionist and asked the matter . She said what she told me. The lady on the phone ( Ms. Green) DID NOT let me speak I kept telling her I have a 7 yr old I know no body in NY where do I take him at this time . She said I DONT CARE MA’M we don’t have rooms. This is ridiculous. I’m here and I don’t know what to do now. PLEASE IF YOU ARE READING THIS DO NOT THINK OF BOOKING THIS HOTEL.

I have stayed in the hampton inn few weeks back , and at the middle of the night AC stopped blowing cool air and the temperature went up to 80F.I have informed front desk, Their first response was they dont have a room available but can provide fan(I dont know how fan is going to help when the room temp is 80F and is a closed room).Then later they have offered me a different type of room. But by the time our sleep has gone and we were totally frustrated.Then the AC again started working so we stayed in the same room.Then again on the next day when we wake up we again saw the temperature has gone to 80F and we were sweating.So i definitly dont recommand this place for staying. It was a family trip which include a 3 year old kid , this incident taken all the fun out of it . I hope people can undertand how you feel when you are visiting so many places in the day of your trip and reaching hotel expecting a good sleep and the AC stop working at the middle of the night.I was really a frustrating experience.Later when we complained on expedia we got the information that hampton inn is reluctant to give any refund.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 days and The only thing good about the hotel was the rooms. I would give negative ratings for the service. Extremely impolite and misbehaving front desk. They don't even have water bottles available, literally takes breakfast away while you're serving, manager on duty was on vacation and the worst is front desk ask you to move out like they are going to kick you out even if you're 15 minutes late for check out.It's a Hilton honors hotel but the service is worse than a 1 star motel. I am definitely going to request to Hilton to take out their name from this hotel or change the front desk staff.

This hotel is located right off the highway. Your close to a lot of shops within walking distance. We had a few hiccups while staying here, but resolves ASAP. This modern room was spacious and equipped with both a fridge and microwave. Breakfast in the morning and hot coffee 24 hours. The staff was friendly and attentive.Cons: Room are cleaned after 3rd night. Also, it must be requested at checkin.

Most of the personnel were very friendly, good complimentary breakfast although the area should be more spacious. Pool renovation was underway. Most important part, they are Pet Friendly!!!Rooms: Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Ok, so I can say this. Almost ALL of the negative reviews are BEFORE the remodel which is huge and still going on. Most of the rooms and public areas are all done, but the parking lot was an absolute nightmare when I was there this week. They are repaving it, which means you have to make sure you don't park your vehicle in the way of the asphalt trucks, or I assume, they just pave right over you. I had to move my car once during my stay, alerted by an early-morning phone call. Not pleasant.The renovation is nice except for the fact that they chose bright-ass bleach white star power glaring light bulbs in all areas. So bright that if you took the roof off this hotel you could see it from space. The rooms likewise have this ultra-brilliant stark white LED lighting. It's just cold and unsettling. If you're planning a romantic getaway in your hotel room, this will NOT be the hotel for you. CHANGE THOSE BULBS!The star of the visit however, and why the 4 star review, is because of the delightful Pam at the front desk. Super professional and sweet at the same time, she handled by herself multiple complaints from customers all with a smile. Everyone was happy. She just has that way with people. She made my stay a pleasant one.I have stayed in this hotel for years, so I really don't understand the negativity, and I'll continue to stay here. The location and price is just right for me, and don't forget free fresh baked cookies daily and hot chocolate free on the coffee bar 24 hours!
