THIS IS THE worst GNC EVER! Do not shop here! Purchased protein powder on april 14th, walked out of store only to notice that i had purchased the wrong one. Went back in less than 10 minutes later and guy did an exchange. Went back on May 10th for a REFUND and was told by Joseph (name on my receipt) that I COULD NOT GET A REFUND BECAUSE I HAD ALREADY MADE AN EXCHANGE and his computer system would not allow him to give me a refund. Mind you, still in the 30 day grace period for a refund so that sound like BS TO ME. He proceeded to give me a gift card which I did not want. Went to car and called customer service and she said I will give you an approval code to give to Joseph. I went back in the store, gave him code and he said "What is that" as I explained it to him he said we do not do that our system do not allow us to do that! I then called the customer service in front of him and had her on speaker phone. She said " you are suppose to refund her money you can't do that" He said " I am a franchise" I said " good if you are a franchise you have to play by their rules" The CS rep told me to go to a corporate store which was not that far away from me. I went there and was told the gift card was a refund why did they not put money back on my card. I then left because guy at corporate store told me he was waiting for his manager to call him back because I could not wait. By the time I got home received a text from corporate store to come and get my refund. I SHOULD not have to go through all of this BS for a refund!! WORSE STORE EVER AND YES I WILL BE TALKING ABOUT YOU JOSEPH! You are the worse for representing such a HUGE COMPANY!

Waited outside for 10 minutes before I left. If you’re going to leave a be “be right back” sign on your window during hours of operation it’s a good idea to leave the time you left and an estimated time you’ll be back.

This is the worst place to shop. I live approximately two minutes from this location. However, I rather drive an extra 20 minutes to Menlo. Customer service is horrible. They don't care if you leave their store unhappy . They will tell you that they are privately owned. Therefore, they have their own rules. Which are different from the GNC Corporation.During regular hours, they will close the store and place a stupid sign at the the door. Don't waste your time in the store in Linden, anywhere else will be better.

Just leaving here-was very surprised there weren't already reviews on this place however, it's all good since that's what I'm here for (lol)!! In any case, I called here earlier to see if they had a particular protein powder I was looking for. I usually go to "Vitamin Shop", however they didn't have the flavor I was looking for and decided to give this place a shot. The gentleman on the phone was very friendly in checking to make sure they had what I was looking for-and of course they did. Once I got there, the person working there whose name was "Christopher" was helping another customer and upon observing, was very helpful in giving useful information to another gentleman who seemed like he was taking protein for the first time. After he was done, I asked him about the product I was looking for and he automatically remembered me from calling. Afterwards, he completed my order and signed me up for the rewards program. I gave this place 5*s because "Chris" knocked the customer service aspect out the park from the Phone call to helping me through my transaction (give the man a raise)! Additionally, the store was very clean and conveniently located in a shopping plaza around other stores with plenty of parking. I highly recommend this store if you have health questions and just looking to live a better lifestyle all around!
