Cancelled my trip multiple times. Was promised a full refund via email. I called, texted, and emailed multiple times with no response. Left several voicemails. Do not use this company. They will take your money and not refund you. Also, I spoke personally via phone with Joey Vulpis, the President/Owner, who reassured me he would reimburse this money but this has not occurred. I have also texted his number several times over the course of weeks and he has ghosted me regarding the refund.

My son's Boy Scout Troop had the privilege of rappelling with Northeast Mountain Guiding. The scouts and adults all had a fabulous day. NEMG's instructions and directions were clear and easy to distribute to the troop. The troop learned a lot about rappelling. We will be calling NEMG again for more adventures.

My partner and I had an intermediate climbing class at Allamuchy State Park on a Saturday in August. It was a fantastic experience. We learned a lot about setting up anchors and also had a fun time climbing. The guide was clear and patient while providing information and answering our many questions. The routes that were set up were well-matched to our abilities.

A bunch of crooks. I booked a rock climbing session but had to cancel due to an emergency. I cancelled about 5 days before was told I was going to get a full refund. The person (joe) said he was going to send me an email but I never received it. It has been 2 weeks now and I still haven't received my refund or any emails. I vigorously tried calling them and emailing them to follow up on it but I never got a response. I am now disputing the charge on my credit card.
Update: this is a response to your reply. I have called and left voicemails numerous times. I also talked to two people that said they will refund me my money. I have emails proving that I tried to contact your company for my refund but never had a response. I have call logs (called at least 40x) proving that I tried to reach out. Now you're lying in this post and in my credit card dispute that I never tried to contact your company for a refund. Keep doing that and I'll keep continuing with the terrible customer service reviews

Ultimate Outdoor Adventures is a 100% scam. Here's why. This past January (2019), I was looking to do some ice climbing with my squad. A fellow adventurer, Dan, happened to be a guide for this company, and he coincidentally invited his squad to go ice climbing with him for an unbelievably low price. I got my squad in on Dan's deal and we all bought tickets on Jan 2 to go ice climbing on January 20, 2019. So far, so good. On Jan 14, I emailed asking for information so I can buy more tickets. No response from UOA. They did, however send out a weather alert Jan 15. I immediately replied to that email and they said they did not receive my prior email. I followed up again Jan 16 and 18th. No response regarding buying more tickets. I even left voicemails. It's annoying, but whatever. I was still stoked to go climbing. Jan 19, a reminder email was sent, but that same day, Dan messaged the entire group that he planned to take out separately in a private Facebook Group that the trip had been postponed due to uncooperative weather and that refunds would be issued if we wanted. OK. I understood. I requested my refund Jan 19. No response. Ugh. Really?! A week goes by and no response... On Jan 27th, I get an email saying that I've been rebooked for Feb 17. Really?! That's not cool, guys. Over the subsequent 2 months, I called all the phone numbers I could find and left voicemails. I sent follow up emails on Mar 24 and April 4th. I kept nagging Dan a bunch of times to give me more information. Why is it so hard to reach them? I even reached out to them via their Instagram. Still, no response. According to Dan, they were switching booking platforms and were still processing refunds. It was troublesome that their website had been down and there was no way to get a hold of them online. Willing to keep trying, on April 9th, I called twice back-to-back and got through to someone on my second try around 12:30p. I explained to her my dilemma, without sounding irate or that there was even a problem, because as we all know, no one responds well to irate customers. I also don't know the circumstances for their not getting back to me. Anyway, as I'm explaining to her what's going on, I can hear someone else in the background directing her on what to say... that basically, all they needed was my address to send me a check. Eureka! I gave them my address and patiently waited. I'm publishing this review April 23rd because I have not yet received my check, CC refund, Venmo, nothing. They owe me $101.70 and basically, I feel like they stole it. I blame myself for falling for this scam. For the record, I partner with dozens of awesome and honest outfitters across the northeast U.S. and wherever I travel throughout the year to bring my friends out on epic outdoor adventures. In fact, full disclosure, I resell their tickets on my own website when the experiences are truly high quality and authentic. And in 6 years of doing this, this is the first time I've encountered an outright fraudulent operation. When you want to do something epic and you search online, a million things come up. Everyone and their momma is calling themselves "adventure" this or "outdoor" that. How do you know that paying someone $100 is going to give you that epic experience you crave? A review is great, but sometimes it's not enough. And here's a perfect example of why. I guess I got so used to encountering so many amazing people that I let my guard down and got dinged. Had I done some research, I would have learned that there's a NJ chapter and a NY chapter of UOA, each with their own website and content. They share the same number - (844) 424-7944 - but pressing 1 takes you to NJ and pressing 2 takes you to NY and good luck to you after that. You will not have an awesome experience. You will not be treated like a human being. And UOA is most definitely not awesome. P.S. Dan, you let me down, bro. You're a good dude but these scammers totally used you as a feeder, introducing them to your un
