One of the best veterinarian experiences yet! I found this practice by chance, as I was looking for someone to check a kitten I found by my house that appeared ill. They fit me in quickly and I found the office to be friendly, compassionate and thorough. Their fees were very reasonable as well. Truly an outstanding experience. The doctor and staff were wonderful. I will be transferring all of my animals to this practice. A true gem!

Saved my Simon’s life! Is there any better endorsement? He was suffering for years under the care of another vet and I knew that I was about to lose him. I said, that’s it and found another vet. My boy is thriving and will be 16 next month! I have no words to thank this practice enough.

I had to find a second vet because my regular vet did not provide the services I needed for one of my cats. I had been to Complete Veterinary Care many years prior for an emergency visit under another vet (Dr. Vorhies) with a different cat. However, it seems the practice changed vets, so I researched Dr. Anacker and he came highly recommended. Dr. Anacker is calm and level-headed. He took me on as a new patient within a couple of days even though he was booked solid for two weeks. He also saw me every 7 to 10 days for several months to give antibiotic shots to my sick cat (and discuss other methods of treatment) even though we both knew my cat Stephen was never going to get well. He always listened carefully and never rushed me out the door. Several times he squeezed me in on the day I called even though he was booked solid. The office always responded in a timely manner and was very cordial. I was also able to provide updates via email. I am so thankful to him. He enabled me to have a few more months with my precious Stephen. I would definitely go back to him again without hesitation.

I have no clue where to even start. But I will forever continue to recommend Dr. Anacker & his team to anyone who needs a compassionate vet. Dr. Anacker is truly one of the best vets I have ever seen. They are always so willing to help even if it requires same day appointments. Almost two months ago my dog Daisy was diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Anacker did a fabulous job with the surgery, helped me do everything I could for her to keep her as comfortable as possible, until my sweet Daisy’s time came to an end. I can’t thank Dr. Anacker & his team enough for being so patience, understanding & caring with me & my best friend who is now forever in my heart ❤️10 / 10 recommend Dr. Anacker & his team they are truly an amazing team!

Dr Anacker goes above and beyond. His prices are extremely reasonable and his follow up is superb. Whatever you spend at appointments, he returns in time spent making sure your pet responds to the treatment. Highly recommend his compassionate care.

Dr. Anacker is an incredibly kind and gentle vet. He’s always patient with our dog, Clyde, and has been with many of our family and friends pets as well. His staff is also kind and helpful. If I could give more than 5-stars I would!

Honestly, I don't think there's a more compassionate vet out there, if there happens to be one, I'm still sticking with Dr. Anacker. We used to bring our pets to his previous office, which was closer to our home, but still travel to Lincoln Park when we need vet services. Yesterday, we had to put down our beloved lab, Dylan. Dr. Anacker had us come in at closing time so there would be less distractions for our dog, and therefore, less stress on him (and frankly us as well). The guy works so much, and for him to extend his workday for our comfort is astonishing, especially on a Saturday. The end for Dylan was exactly the way you would wish; peaceful and dignified. Our previous "end of life" encounter at the group he worked with, prior to making the decision to join Complete, was a much different experience. There, he didn't have the voice to be able to conduct these types of services on his terms, and although we were always happy bringing our pets to him, you truly see the real Dr. Anacker at his new office. I'm so happy that he decided to make this move and is now a business owner. He's an amazing man and truly cares about you, your needs and the needs of your pet. It's never easy to make a visit like we did yesterday, but seeing him take such excellent care of Dylan during his final moments is something that will ease the pain in your heart and assure you that you did the right thing, because you chose the right professional. We are always grateful for Dr. Anacker's opinion when it comes to taking care of our pets, but when you really need him in times like these, that's when you realize the true value of a good friend that just happens to be your veterinarian. Thank you so much Dr. Anacker, you'll never know how much we appreciate you and all you do for us.

I don't live in town but I stop by whenever I'm in New Jersey. These guys are great, it's hard to find a vet that cares about your animals as they do. It never feels like they are just trying to over sell you on stuff you don't need, they are honest and help you as much as they can. I couldn't recommend a vet more than these guys. Having lived in a ton of a states from hawaii to New Jersey I have never found anyone who cares as much as they do. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!!!!! Thank you so much complete veterinary care!!!!

Loved Dr. Vorhies, was sad to learn he was no longer there. I had to bring my pup in for his regular check up and shots and Dr. Anacker is just as amazing as Dr. Vorhies. Very patient and answered all of my questions ☺️

This place is great!!!! My dog had an ear infection and was able to get seen same day. Veterinary doctor and staff were amazing. I came 10 min late and saw me right away. Service was excellent!!!!I'd definitely recommend them

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Recently we had to put our family cat down and as terrible as the situation was, I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Dr. Anacker is incredibly empathetic and patient. He gave us as much time as we needed to process what was happening. Today we got a hand written letter from him expressing his deepest sympathy for our loss. That meant more to my family and I than he will ever know. If you are looking for a vet for ANY reason, this is the place to go.
