I called this place this morning to ask about possibly fixing my Vizio Led TV. I explained to the gentleman I needed a power supply circuit board either refurbished or a new one. I asked if this was something they do and if so, I could bring the old board to his shop. He immediately cut me off, with an attitude, telling me, “we don’t do it like that”. I asked, okay, how do you operate. He said, we come to your place, pickup the TV, bring it back and evaluate what’s wrong with the TV. It’s important to point out again, I already know what’s wrong with the TV. It’s the power supply circuit board as I mentioned at the beginning of this review. I then asked him, I can save him a trip by bringing the TV to him which is only a few miles away. His reply, we don’t have customers come to the shop because of COVID. We only come to your place and pick it up. My reply, you mean you won’t allow customers into your shop but you want to come in my home instead? He told me he changes a $50 charge, UPFRONT. So let me get this right! I know what what type of service/part I need. I’m willing to transport the TV to him & pickup the TV when fixed, and his answer is NO! I thanked him for fielding my call and hung up. Not only was this guy rude as soon as the call began, he thinks it’s acceptable to come into my home during COVID but it’s not acceptable for me to come into his shop. But it’s obvious it wasn’t about COVID. This guy is looking for ways to charge the customer more money. And to boot, he’s Charging $50 upfront as leverage once he comes back to you with a diagnosis and price for your TV.My recommendation: I would not do business with this company.
