Why does the older lady (not the asian one, the other older lady) that works here still have a job. She is rude, doesnt want to work, and ignores people. People will walk in and she will continue to sit and not take anyone that is waiting on the line. Meanwhile there is one else working the front register so obviously she is the only person working the front desk. So why act like you dont work at the usps? Shes just collecting a pay check and angry while she is doing it.

Don't lie to me that system is crashing to avoid scanning qr code to print out of your printer. Either you don't want to learn it or lazy. Other USPS store told me you are lying . You are just sending ppl around

I don’t usually write reviews but I am writing for this place because the lady in front counter is SO RUDE. I wouldn't even give one star if I had the option. Had a mail that was left at my door that did not belong to me and the address on it was wrong. I made the effort to return it back to them and the lady could not be any ruder and asked me why I waited 3 days to return the mail. She often yells at the people in front of me or waiting back in the line. This is ridiculous. Returning a package shouldn’t be this hard.

Not even a star. Don't expect any kind of service or normal behavior from this place. Rude and aloof attitude by the only 2 workers there who are not always there to start with. Actually lost one letter because the lady didn't scan it into the system, and one package got lost and found 2 weeks later stuck in Hackensack. The worker didn't even know how to track it down. Even at NJ MVC you would get better responses from the workers. Avoid this place like a plague, drive just a bit further, and go to USPS in Fort Lee.

I only ever come here to drop off packages that already have labels, nothing more. And everytime I go, I say hello to the lady only for her to not say a word back. She proceeds to tap the scale for me to place the package, doesn't say a word. She scans l, hands me the receipt and I leave. I only ask for the bare minimum of interaction and not greeting back is a already a sign of rudeness. This is not a case where I, the customer was acting rude. Try to take your packages elsewhere, don't bring it here.

Hi I am a resident of leonia for 17 years and i wish the people in charge of this post office , have this place get in better shape, this post office is very dirty, , need a lot of repairs and maintenence , also the inside where the employes work its very dirty and desorganized, unfortunaly i have to go to pick up my mail ,Leonia deserve a better post office, thank you

Asian lady is So RUDE!. I don’t know how she is working there. Treating people like there d**** Yet she doesn’t know how to speak proper English. Telling me to stop coming back in. All because I came back twice to fix an error I made on the address I was providing to mail something. She literally told me stop coming back & fourth with an attitude. I told her politely, “Im sorry am I not suppose to ask questions”She is Lucky im not that type of person to give attitude back. One day she will give attitude to the wrong person who is having a bad day & it will be a disaster. I pray for that Lady. ?.

Most of the time you find a Asian lady who it’s rude if she doesn’t want she just says go to another place can’t do it .. here rules are deferent , ( it depends on workers mood)the rest they fold boxes or clean they’r nails..it’s ridiculous how this place works and keeps this people without any responsibility..

The worst customer service I've ever experienced at a post office, and that's saying something. For one, the place looks like a hurricane blew through it - extremely dirty, dusty, and supplies laying all over the place. If COVID didn't start in China, I wouldn't be surprised if it started at this USPS - absolutely appalling. And finally, the workers. They clearly hate their jobs, but instead of making the best of it until they clock out - they try to bring down the rest of the Leonia population with them. As the worker performed her duties with an angry-at-the-world attitude, she started yelling at the line stating that she was not giving out receipts for pre-paid packages because it was too crowded (for reference there were 3 people in line at the time). Are you kidding me? Do you think any rational customer would trust leaving a package at this dump without receiving proof of a scan? Can you imagine a business that tries to cut services because one worker feels like they're too busy? It'd be like walking into a Starbucks and having the barista tell you that they're not doing any iced drinks because the line is too long. Avoid this place at all costs, maybe when this dump shuts down and they have to layoff their workers they'll adopt a customer-centric approach at their next job and remember that without customers they'd be unemployed. Negative stars.

I have pretty much minimal expectations when it comes to any post office, however this place manages to fall even below those. Shockingly impolite staff at this location. Recent example: I came in with an envelope, placed it on the scale and said "just a receipt, thanks". The clerk then stared at me and the envelope and back again for about 10 seconds before scanning the label. Just bizarre. If not for the convenient parking I'd definitely be going elsewhere.
