I went to this store yesterday and one of the male employees was checking me out at the register and he had the worst attitude possible towards me and my mom. It's a shame that there are employees like that in a place like this!

I've been looking for a place that does a specific haircut I wanted for a while now and wanted to be able to trust that it was done right. Above wasting money, I hate not liking the result and having to wait to regrow my hair to try again. After reading reviews about Jeannie, I was convinced to give it a shot and I am so glad I did. I have attempted a few salons and haven't been able to get the exact cut I've been looking for. Jeannie really took the time to ask what I wanted with different areas of lengths/ added volume prior to cutting, which i really appreciated and found comforting. Would highly recommend her for haircuts

Reagan is the sweetest, most professional hairdresser I’ve had. I love everything about this stylist, including how they carried themselves throughout the entire hair styling experience. Reagan took every moment to give me the best customer service, hairstyling tips and recommendations from the store. I can’t wait to go back to have my hair done by Reagan :) You are a gem!

I went to Ulta beauty last month for the first time and Reagan was my stylist. I needed a quick blowout but I was actually so blown away with how great Reagan was as a stylist. My blowout lasted way longer than it ever has! She was so sweet and giving me helpful tips and was actually listening to my concerns without pushing me to buy unnecessary products. I can’t wait to come back in and have Reagan color my hair :)

I got my brows done by the benefit brow, girl Ashley. And she was amazing as shaping my eyebrows. I usually don’t trust anyone with my eyebrows, but I can truly say that she nailed it. The service was amazing. She was so kind, friendly and personable. I would definitely go back to Ashley to get my brows waxed again!!! 10/10 experience.

Got to the benefit brow bar and waited a minute for her to acknowledge me as I thought she was talking to a customer but it was just another coworker since they seemed slow. Didn’t exchange any nice pleasantries of how are you today, what would you like, etc? I asked how long she worked there to spark conversation and she remained underwhelming like I was bothering her. She did however talk to her coworker about their new manager while applying wax to my brow. During this awkward interaction, she explained her boss wants more google reviews and she’ll walk me through leaving a review before I leave. She said, “You don’t have to say anything, just it has to be 5 stars.” I didn’t even respond as I was shocked she’s asking this before even finishing my brows and just overall attitude of being rude. Then at the end she tried pressuring me to leave a 5 star review in front of her and I said I didn’t feel comfortable in doing so. She was not understanding and my eyebrows were done poorly to the point I had to continue tweezing when I got home. Then writing my slip to go checkout she had to ask for my name yet again. Worst experience at Ulta I ever had. Their “secondary” option of getting brows waxed back from the salon should be their primary. The woman back there is personable, friendly, and does a great job. I like the salon person so much I’ll return only for her. Stay away from the benefit brow station!

Went to glam myself up (wax) meanwhile I come out with burnt skin and peeled off eyebrow. The stylist was nice. However, she ripped off my skin above my eye. I noticed it as I was looking in the mirror. From my perspective she noticed (how can you not? Everyone noticed it) and didn’t stop. She also gave me incomplete service with plucking my lip. There is still hair there. I can’t even use my trimmer because my lip is too sensitive to even use.I got waxed 3 weeks ago at a spa and this did not happen. I’ve been waxing and this is the first time this has ever happened.I asked 2 people at the store if they have anything. The cashier asked if I’d like to tip the stylist , I showed her my skin and if there is anything we can do . She looked shocked and concerned, she tried to help me but they didn’t have anything, was told to go to a CVS for some healing cream. What really bother d me tho, after seeing my skin and missing skin and in pain, “do you want to tip?”. Just felt icky. She didn’t even ask for a manager. Looking back I totally should have.Went to a wax center near by and they were mortified at my skins condition. They took me immediately and gave me products to reduce the inflammation and pain. After wax center I went back to speak with the manager, I appreciate her apology and kindness. She thankfully gave me a refund for the waxing and some free mini goodies! Much appreciated. It just really upsetting because I have clients to meet all week and it feels embarrassing to have these marks all over my face that are clearly noticeable. :(After looking at the reviews , it’s clear that this is not the first time it happened. Which is concerning.

The person who did my makeup and hair was so kind. But both were done terribly.. please just go to someone who is experienced if you have an event to attend.

Reagan was an absolute gem! He styled my hair perfectly and gave me the chocolate brown color of my dreams. I’m so picky with who does my color, but he listened to every concern of mine in the consultation and delivered. I will definitely be back!

Ironically, I was the client that Lindsay was speaking of. And her story is 100% correct. And I am not sure why at the start of Ulta’s work day this was not addressed. And THAT should have been my red flag.My color was not what I had envisioned, but more importantly, it was applied with no pattern or blend in…just chunks here and there.I called the next day to have it “fixed”. I was told by my stylist that it would cost me to have it redone and I would have to come back yet another day. OR I can have a clarifying treatment at that moment for no cost.Needless to say the option that I chose and it looked exactly the same!!Mistakes happen, but there were too many this time. In addition, I am not sure why I was not called or emailed a courtesy check in as to if my second time around addresses the problem.I will not be going back to that Ulta. I will continue to go to the Rockaway location.
