Amazingly helpful staff. These folks sure know their stuff - especially what “Hunterdon County Whitetail Deer” eat and dont eat! Appreciate all of the professional assistance friends!

Nice plants and a very large selection. Maybe the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The employees are rude and condescending. You’re selling flowers, not curing diseases.

Stopped in on a whim for a Mother’s Day present and God am I disappointed that I’ve never been in this place before! The people who work there are so friendly, the quality of items they have between the plants and the gift shop items are unmatched between any other place in the area. Be sure to stop in!

Bad customer service by owner after contacting and explaining my problem. Threw out half of my purchase of plants after they were diseased and slowly dying off. Been going here for years. Will no longer support nor recommend.

I had a few visits to this nursery over the past few years, but this past purchase was a disaster. I purchased a 9 foot flowering tree from them and it died. OK so they said they would replace it (for a fee) and no showed 3 different times! Each time going back to the store to reschedule. No more with this place. Went to another place on Rt. 22 and totally satisfied. They lost this customer for good. Absolutely terrible!!!

We've gone to this market the last two years for our Christmas tree, customer service is always great and their store is awesome to browse and pick up a few new tree ornaments every visit!

I know there are comments - and low ratings - based on the [lack of] customer service, but I'd say it's more about personality, and definitely not personal. They offer a great selection, and Harold knows the ins-and-outs of local horticulture. Know that it may be difficult to get a call back - frustrating, yes. But if you go in, he's a straight shooter, and gives you what you need. We don't go there for the hugs! With that said, he went out of his way to get us the perfect bald Christmas tree, and knowing where we live he made sure it was the appropriate species for our soil/sunlight. The only ones he had out were fairly small, so he told our 7yr old son to come back the next day and he'd get us a bigger one. It was perfect. And knowing my husband is a veteran, gave us a discount to boot. We've been going there for all of our gardening needs for years (and when a "local" gift is in order), and will continue to do so. Hug-free. :)

Unfortunately i've never stopped in pior to today. My girlfriend and I were driving past and saw the pumpkin chimineas, we immediately turned around to go see if they had the large one that had been missing from our collection. We had bought three from wegmans years before. Everyone was very helpful, cant wait to go back with more time to look around.
