What an amazing organization, that builds confidence and self-esteem in disabled people through fun-filled sporting events. The opening ceremonies at the Summer and Winter Games are everything you would expect from an Olympic experience.

SONJ does't think about athletes. They don't care about people with disabilities. I was with SONJ since 2007. We used to have a great volunteers and great couches.

Nobody that I’ve reached out to numerous times over the last year to resolve this has gotten back to me regarding it and I am tired of this happening still, again and again, causing me unnecessary stress. My name is French, not Spanish and this place has been mailing me unwanted donation forms for the last year nonstop despite me emailing and leaving voice messages correcting them and asking for them to not send me anymore, regardless of getting my name/gender right. I just received another one recently; this isn’t funny and it feels like targeted harassment since I corrected them multiple times. I’m a biological female and this isn’t funny.

I have been an athlete for over 30 years and have learned so much from SPECIAL OLYMPICS.The one thing I learned is that my team can be a rival to another team but I can be friends with someone from the opposing team.I have played many sports throughout those 30 years and have found my passion for basketball not just as a player but as a spectator as well.I am the oldest player on my team, but my teammates don't treat me that way, we are a family.
