Went there with my little man today 5/18/24 he should have been born in the 80's! He loves this place and the owner is a very knowledgeable man. We were treated fairly and will return for more PS games, genesis games and more!!

When I asked about a price, the owner looked on eBay and told me a price even higher than the already egregious eBay price

So - I was in the market for a PlayStation 2 and my search led me here. This store has an amazing selection of games and consoles, and my experience was nothing short of quick, easy, and awesome. It feels like you’re stepping back in time while shopping here. I will be coming back here for all of my future retro/gaming purchases.

This was my first time going here and I had such a great experience, looking forward to going back! Highly recommend as they're very helpful with any questions you may have & their selection goes beyond just retro games

Entering into the store feels like traveling back in time. The carefully placed stacks are full of treasures to be discovered. Knowing it's a family owned small business, I've been in a few times and always greeted with a smile and treated fairly. They have a generous return policy and willingness to negotiate. I recommend them as long as you understand it's a small business, not a corporation with the lowest prices. Happy searching!

Recently bought some titles with the buy 3 get 1 free promotion. Saved a lot of money and got some cool pickups! I hope the store continues to do promotions and which will make me a long-time customer.

I have yet to have a good experience with this store. Currently was trying to get a Nintendo Gameboy advance sp (either 001 or 101 would be fine). The first time I visited I was told that a good condition platinum sp with the 001 screen was $150. I asked for the reason for the high price and was told this was market value. I decided not to get it and thanked them for their time. Not even 4 weeks later I wanted to try again and see if they had the system as I didn't want to go through Ebay of the facebook marketplace for one. This time the exact same system was $200. I don't know how they are getting these prices and I wasn't given an answer when I asked why the price jumped up.

I'd have to say I went to the store when it originally opened in Lawrenceville New Jersey and it was a little lack luster. But I went there recently and they have plenty of games from every system you could think of and the prices to me were pretty competitive with places like eBay and the flea market. I would say if you're looking for some old games that you're having trouble finding online, this is definitely a place to find stuff. You can even ask the owner if he has a specific game and they're pretty knowledgeable and what they have in stock.

I'll be blunt there's a few better places out there and one of those being ebay. Went in with a friend drove about 40 minutes from my home due to wanting to see retro games. Prices are inflated beyond repair. Places looks like a horders heaven though so if you're into that go ahead but for me I'm good.

I am not a reseller nor a avid collector looking to complete sets of gaming systems. I am looking for all those games that my wife and I had as kids. Today I decided to try out this store. I was greeted by the owner who was fully engaged in helping me find those 40+ year old games. This store had a great selection of not boxed, boxed and even games that were new factory sealed. The prices were very competitive to other retro type stores. Yes I did walk out with a couple of games with a smile of a 10 year old. I was not disappointed.

Unfortunately have to echo the other bad reviews here, and I’m sure I’ll get a sassy response from the owner in return lolI called and someone picked up the phone saying they had the controller I was looking for. So I drove out my way only to find that the man I spoke to on the phone was the owners father and doesn’t know anything about retro games and could not help me pick out the correct controller . He said the owner would be back from the gym in an hour.Hung out in the area for an HOUR waiting for the owner. Called back and spoke to the owner and he gave me a price that was 110% more than what I paid for the same controller at a different retro game store a few months ago. Picking up that controller for half the price they’re asking for at another store tomorrow. Try retro classics in Somerville or digital press for fair prices and a clean store!Edit: I was correct with the sassy response lol I was not rude at all. I was very nice despite the unprofessionalism previously encountered; with zero apology from the owner might I add. I said “thank you, good luck” if that’s rude idk what to tell you, dude. Second. The owner is lying now. The other store had a brand new in box for $75 and a used for $40. This owner is selling a “brand new in box” (it was used), for $120 and a used for $85. So he’s just flat out lying now. Insane markup and not worth it. PROCEED WITH CAUTION
