The employees that work at this location are extremely rude. I would never rent a car from Hertz. Enterprise right down the street has professional, friendly staff that are much more pleasant to work with.

I recently rented a car from Hertz. The car was really good and in top-notch condition. The process was very easy and smooth. Lucy (from reception) was really polite and helped me with options and they even provided me with the credit since I had to return the car earlier than it was scheduled.

Lucy is just fantastic. She made both check in and out smooth. She is extremely professional and willing to help. Her service made this branch (Hertz Lawrenceville NJ) the best hertz branch (among almost 10 others) I have used.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient.There are other times that I have came here to rent a car and the previous staff was not so friendly. Lucy made this process easy and quick. I appreciate her kindness and help.

Their employee rented a car fraudulently under my name, bypassed ID verification, charged my card on file, and had the car out for weeks as stolen. I had to replace my CC. Hertz suspended my account because of this. It’s still an ongoing mess. I live nowhere near NJ…. I’ve notified NJ Consumer Protection and the NJ State Police.

I rented a midsize car for 4 days and the two gentlemen who assisted me were both really cool. The car was clean and reliable and pick up and drop off were both really easy. I am never disappointed with Hertz and this location meets their high standard. Also, I had to extend my rental an extra day and it was very easy to do that online.

Very friendly service by hosts here! Conveniently located. Wish they were open longer hours on Saturday or open for sometime on sundays.24-Hrs drop box located backside.

Just rent somewhere else. Car smelled badly of weed and cigarettes. Dirty interior. Car had issues with locking me out, then door wouldn’t even unlock at all. I rented a full size car and was informed that the Chevy trax counted as full size. I was ultimately given $50 off but really didn’t cover the problems

Ryan was very charming and efficient. My reservation was for 12 and he kindly called to say the store closes at 12. I was 15 minutes late but it wasn't a problem. Everything went smoothly regarding payment and pick-up so not sure why so many others have complained.

The two gentleman at this location are scammers. They charged me twice for the same reservation while providing bottom of the line rinky dink cars. They are very unprofessional and very unorganized. AVOID THIS BRANCH like the plague. CROOKS!

I hope someone who really cares about the brand and the company reads this. I am hoping correcting measures will be made and better customer services will come out of this.1- While I understand that little options, if any, are offered, but now the employee decides which car to give you. If you ask what cars are available they don’t answer. They treat you with “take it or leave it” kind of attitude.2- I booked a full size car and was given a Kia Forte and when I asked how is a Kia Forte a full size, I was told it is a 2023, it is brand new! I said I appreciate it that you guys have new cars but I booked a full size. Again, it is a polite “take it or leave it”.3- Few weeks later, I booked a Mid size car, as I learned my lesson not to pay for a full size and then be forced to get a Mid size. This time the employee gave me an electric car. I explained that I don’t have a charger at home and that the midsize car was actually more expensive than the electric car, but the employee claimed that charging stations are all over the place.Having no time to make another reservation, I was left with no option as I had an interview to attend and a doctor’s appointment afterwards, I hesitantly accepted the car. I ended up miserable for few hours trying to find a working charging station till I found one and left the car there to charge from 5 pm to midnight.The next morning I returned the car and insisted to get what I booked: a midsize car.Surprise surprise, they have mid size car, it is a Kia Forte 2018!!I tried to ask how come the Kia Forte 2023 is a full size but now the Kia Forte 2018 (almost 6 years old) is a Mid size. the old Kia had close to 50K miles on it and ran OK. Still I believe it was unfair and retaliatory to give me a 6 years old car because I insisted to get what I booked.I reached a conclusion, that this branch or may be the corporate tells them to make those gimmicks cause whoever is renting and making a booking has plans for the day or an interview to attend or a doctor’s appointment, and the employees just take the license and credit card and “shove” any car without any courtesy to offer you options within what you booked or at least provide you the right car as per your booking. I would not recommend any friend to rent from this location. And if these behaviors and attitude are within their corporate guidelines and acceptable to their management, then this is worse than what it appears.

Made reservation yesterday for 3 days and they had vehicles available. I come in today and they don't have any vehicles only an electric one for an upcharge. Associate did not want to cancel on his end and made me call the 1-800 number. Total letdown and will never use this location. Oh, I'm also a Gold member but that doesn't seem to matter. @hertz I am expecting not to be charged for this as it was not my fault. Very disappointing.

This Hertz store did not talk with my insurance and I’m still getting charge out of pocket fees. I have to pay $500 because of them not caring
