Agree with David about place. Not very professional and I've been there for while. No loyalty to customer even with a long time of service. The RECEPTIONIST is flighty and very rude. The tax preparers all have bad attitudes even though I never had Mr. Edwards maybe once. And it smells funny in the tiny office. Not a happy customer and this year I will give someone else my business.

I dont know what David is smoking but I Just got my taxes done at H & W Edwards. There was no Henry at the office! Our return was professionally done & the offices were well organized & clean. Furthermore, 2 years ago, when I was audited, H&W Edwards was able to negotiate the mistake my prior accountant made and considerably lower my penalty, thank goodness. I would HIGHLY recommend H&W Edwards to anyone looking for a professional tax accountant and I had a good overall experience.

Recommended by my parent's co-worker to prepare income taxes, price range is depending on number and type of forms needed and time spent may run approx $150-$250. First impressions were not good, the place is stacked with people's personal papers lying on the desk or floor and is not locked and secured. I saw may people's social security numbers and address out in the open. We had to file multiple state returns and ended up getting flagged by the NJ Dept of Treasury for a discrepancy in gross reported income. Called and faxed info several times and Henry's response would always be..."I have other clients I have to meet with, I will call you back". I got fed up getting the run around and the brush off is unprofessional. I ended up having to get another accountant and use my own footwork to fix this mess. I would avoid this place if you have more complicated returns, do yourself a favor and get a CPA who is knowledgeable about your circumstances and the proper way to file multiple state taxes. Good luck if you happen to get audited, you will not find any help or support here.
