Had a floor replaced under warranty. Took a year and while the manufacturer was slow to respond, Worldwide was equally as slow with limited communication and left us to feel we were at fault when they knew there were numerous claims against the flooring. The entire experience was negative and a loss of future business.

The review made by David B.B. 5 years ago, was exactly our experience today 8/19/22, although we did not get as far as booking a service, my mother and I were not greeted, we were the only ones with masks on in the whole store, and felt invisible the whole time we were present. When I finally went over to say hello, (even though we did when we entered, with no response) and ask for help, they explained three people had called out. This is not the customers problem, nor is it a reason not to greet customers when they walk in to your establishment. You never know who they are, and what they may be in the market for. We asked where their wool rugs were located. The sales person who had gotten up from his desk, to help us, said "wool is always in our showroom." We wouldn't have known this, as we had never been to the establishment before. Overall it was a negative vibe, and we felt discouraged to continue to look around for what we wanted. We will be taking our business to a different small business location, who will appreciate us, our time and purchase. Thanks.

I typically don't write negative reviews for businesses but Worldwide flooring has put us through the single worst sales experience that we have ever had. We have kept all of the emails and documents to demonstrate how poorly this company handles customer service. We faced multiple issues on the purchase of a floor for our kitchen: - I visited the showroom specifically asking for a vinyl floor for my kitchen. The sales woman was very nice and showed me multiple options that fit my criteria. I asked numerous questions about the install process, given the current floor covering and about the quality of the floor. I later found out that the floor they sold us was NOT vinyl, it was laminate, but not vinyl and not intended for a kitchen. - The sales team took 90 mins to complete paperwork for the purchase of the flooring. We were patient because even though they seemed incompetent, the sales folks were nice enough and we pitied them. Unfortunately, as we should have known, the purchase was incorrect and riddled with errors. - Next, the measurements were incorrect. We had them pre-measure before ordering the product. We received 50 extra boxes of material. While their policy states that they do not except returns, they eventually caved because it was so obvious they had incorrectly entered the measurements. We understand that sometimes there are mistakes and we even allow for a little greed from the sales team, but 50 extra boxes!? - The installation team was hurried and unprofessional. The installation was substandard. The installers spoke very little English and though we tried to use a translator app, there were definitely problems. There are large separations between the boards. The substandard material that was delivered and installed incorrectly is chipping and cracking in multiple areas. - When we tried to address the situation with the sales team, we were ignored. Literally, ignored. The installation team at least responded to our emails and sent out an inspector hired by the floor manufacturer. The inspector confirmed that it was the wrong floor and should of never been sold to us for a kitchen. - To this day, no one from the management or sales team has even acknowledged a single one of our numerous written complaints, including their COO. We understand that mistakes happen and we work with businesses without issue in numerous aspects of our lives. We have performed construction projects in multiple houses and have a general understanding of dealing with home improvement contractors. What is so uniquely offensive about World Wide Flooring is the total lack of even acknowledging our complaints about this issue. Seriously, not even a phone call or some kind of email? We strongly urge that if you are looking for a professional quality experience in purchasing flooring material, please DO NOT shop or even visit this store. The management does not care about the consumers and will ignore your complaints.

Buyer beware! This store will charge you for measurements. I had found a 12 x 27 remnant at another small carpet store. They came out and measured without charging me or taking a deposit and I was told that it would be a perfect fit. Unfortunately, the remnant was sold before I made my decision so I had to find another store with that carpet since the store no longer carried that brand. I found the carpet at Worldwide. My husband took measurements but told the sales person that he was not sure of the exact amount of carpet that was needed. We were told that it was no problem because they were going to come and measure anyway. We left an 80% deposit based upon the measurements we provided. Unfortunately, our measurements were not accurate which can be expected since we are not in the carpet business. After Worldwide measured, I received a call from the sales person saying I needed 369 square feet of carpet which is approximately 12 x 31. The cost of my carpet was now $800 more than what was originally quoted. I told the sales person that I did not understand why I needed so much carpet since the room was 12 x 24. I was told that the carpet needed go halfway into the two doors on the side of the room. I told the sales person that this was impossible since there was tile and also the room itself is only 11 feet 8 inches wide. This would have no bearing on the additional length. I suggested that they send another person to measure and confirm since this did not make sense but was not given this as an option. The salesperson spoke with the installer and was told, "sell her what she wants." This implied to me that they would not take responsibility for the amount of carpet and if it was wrong or short I would be blamed. My husband and I decided to cancel the order. I received another call from the sales person who then said that the manager had reviewed the measurements and they could do it for me for $400 less because I did not need all that carpet. At this point, my husband and I lost trust and decided not to purchase from them and cancelled the order. I asked for my deposit to be refunded. Two days later I received my refund minus $50. We were told that there was a charge to measure. We were NEVER told that there was a charge to measure the money I left was a deposit and did not include a charge to measure. It is unbelievable to me that a store this large would do this. If your business is reliant upon accurate measurements it is in your best interest to offer this as a free service. Businesses offer free estimates and quotes all the time but not this one! They are forcing you to pay $50 and then selling you more carpet than you need! In the end, you will not be paying less if you think it is cheaper than a small business. This is a disgrace and they are clearly taking advantage of the customer. There are plenty of small carpet stores that do not do this. Another reason to buy from small businesses.

The installation was not completed to my satisfaction. They never finished the molding around the floors. they took molding off and ripped the paint off the walls and They never called me back. I complained and she said it was the homeowners responsibility to do it and that's baloney, they should've done a better job. I'm not happy at all. I'm really sorry that I used them.
