My family and I were having a good shopping experience until we heard a loud and vulgar conversation from the staff in the back. We were horrified to hear racial slurs including multiple uses of the n*** word. Suffice it to say, we will not be returning, as we do not feel that it is an inclusive and supportive environment.

I didn’t know this store was in Lavalette! I live in Wanaque since 1989. In Pompton Lakes there was a Ben Franklin store until a huge fire hit that small mall and the Ben Franklin was never rebuilt. I’m going to take a summer trip to Lavalette to see this Ben Franklin.

Love this place, it's been around since I was young. It has everything to make you feel "you're at the beach". It has everything you need to decorate your home beachy and go to the beach for some fun in the sun.

I have been going to the store since I was a kid growing up in the sixties. Everything you can possibly imagine can be found there, but the prices of merchandise are absurd, even in the dead of winter. A t-shirt that they are charging $25 for can be found at another shop up the street for $10. I am a year-round resident and only go to the store if I am desperate. It is amazing that they have been able to survive all these years. Seasonal residents beware. Take a trip to z line for your souvenirs and Beach needs on your vacation.

I love this store! Has everything you could ever want or need. From household decor, to clothing, and beach items, they have it all. The prices are very reasonable too. Best part is they're open all year round. Just finished my Christmas shopping here
