I have been bringing all of my pets here since they opened their doors in the 90’s! Chews vet has always helped with our cats and dogs from the day we got them, til the very end. The facility is very clean and the staff are all so nice. Highly recommend if you are looking for a vet

I have been a client of Chews for about 15 years and absolutely loved them!!! It was bought by other owners in the last couple years and I have watched it slowly get worse. The receptionist area is completely rude. They ignore you half the time, and you have to actually say hello first. You have to ask for follow ups, you have to ask for treatments for your pet cause nothing is suggested. Thank God I have a family member in the field who suggest options for my senior dog. Unfortunately she is not close or I would have gone there. When I suggest the treatment, they say oh yeah you could do that. Why not tell me that. They do not call you back. I called 4 x for my senior dog who was wheezing and coughing. And they finally called me back 4 days later. I had been in there a week prior and was told to call if he didn’t get better. Well I did. And no one addressed his condition. I then called to have my records sent to another veterinary facility for both of my dogs. And they couldn’t have been more accommodating to send them over. Who does that when someone is so frustrated with being completely ignored. Shame on you Chews. You need to do better!!!

My dogs been coming here for many years now even after we’ve got him from previous owner about three years ago he has been here since he was young, although last appointment I’ve never seen the most dissprectful and ignorant “doctor” at a vet clinic like this before. My dog has a lot of anxiety issues and doesn’t like being touched and gets over stimulated at the vet which he needs medication before hand (which we gave him) it is known on his file and since he’s been there before that he becomes snappy at the drs because he gets overwhelmed and they’ve handled it before so I don’t understand why this particular dr was so ignorant towards not just my dog but also us as well. When we arrived there was an assistant who put a rope leash on my dog and we’ve mentioned multiple times that he doesn’t act very well at the vet and may need us to be around him too and is snappy yet she continued to pull choke him to weigh him. She goes to weigh him and I go with him trying to help get him on the weigh because he’s not very cooperative at the vet. The assistant might’ve touched him a way and he snapped at her which is not her fault but also it was stated that our dog is reactive and scared very easily where he feels threatened. And we also offered that we attempt to put him on there incase that would happen. As soon as that happens we go into the room with him and it seems as if it’s this huge deal as if we didn’t warn them before and also knowing we’re a recurrent client with this place. Another dr comes in who we were told was a esthetician and first she says in a rude way saying “get ur dog! get ur dog!” even tho he doesn’t react unless he is being choked or touched and he was literally just standing there curious on who’s coming in so that was uncalled for and i told her he doesn’t bite just because u walked in and she gets cocky saying yes he does clearly and basically tells u we never gave him the medicine to calm down in which we did so it seems she was trying to find someone to blame for a “reactive dog” as a vet clinic and a veterinarian or anyone who has experience in animal care should be experienced with pets who are very anxious and struggle with cooperating at the vet but nope instead she made it a huge problem was totally disrespectful and took it out on us and made it seem like our dog was an issue and unsafe instead of helping in any way, maybe if you don’t just throw a rope and choke a dog and pull him on your own, he won’t react that way not even that you gave us a “muzzle” for our dog that was a size for a chihuahua (our dog is a medium size dog). It just showed by the other clients coming in that the two ppl we’ve encountered with clearly only had experience with small animals. Complete ignorance from that esthetician literally a rotten lady with no respect she wanted a problem as soon as she walked in the room. I didn’t even feel safe leaving our dog there and having her bring him back to the drs room after that whole thing. Never had I have dealt with that at a vet clinic before that behavior was unwelcoming and disgusting. There needs to be more people qualified for all types of animals and behaviors not just small little puppies and kittensthat sit still and let u do whatever (it seemed like that was what was expected there knowing everytime we come here our dog has to be under anesthesia just to get his nails clipped)

We always get quality care from all the vets and techs! Our cat has allergies and we have to come in regularly so she doesn't scratch her ears off. They always handle her with so much love and care.

I'm not happy with my last visit. When I brought my cat home from her visit and let her out of her carrier, she immediately started limping and crying. They took her in a room to do an x-ray, and I don't know what happened when she was in there. Before I took her there, she was active and full of life, and she hasn't been the same since. They claim they did nothing wrong, and I had to pay for a shot, and hope it would make her better. I will never go there again.

I walked into office hoping I would get appointment even though it was a walk in. Lady at front desk was so ignorant to me. She said they are not an urgent care and don’t take walk ins and I would have to pay an emergency fee. She is walked back and talked to doctor and said she was ready to walk out cause people coming in thinking they are an urgent care. She was so rude. I was just worried and concerned about my cat and she just didn’t care about my feelings or my cats problem at all. She really made me feel worse about my cat that I already felt. Now I am just sitting at urgent care waiting for them to open. I used the o go there often. I will never go back to that place again or recommend anyone there again it’s people at front that are so rude.

Nothing but a great experience at Chews landing vet! We were with another provider in the area previously and were just never happy. Chews landing is a breath of fresh air!
