I was in need of a new car. My family has bought from Joe Scurti Sales for years. Unfortunately they didn’t have what I was looking for, but Chris really guided me in the right direction. He was incredibly helpful! Thanks again Chris!

Recently bought my first car with Christian though it was the third car my family has purchased through him. Before even trying to sell me a car Christian asked what I wanted, how and what I would be using the car for, and a general gauge of the budget. From there, he helped steer me towards the best fit for me. It was great to work with an honest no frills salesman like Christian that really had my best interest at heart. Bought a car to take with me to California and Christian was even knowledgeable about all the strict emissions standards there to help me find something that would not be problematic to register and inspect after I moved.

I'm an automotive journalist for major news outlets around the U.S., and even I dreaded buying a used vehicle. Giving advice is one thing, but as a 'car guy' I was so worried the process would be stressful and incredibly time consuming. Met Chris and the experience could not have been more pleasant, he's both no-nonsense and incredibly friendly. The right car for my needs and budget was right there on the lot and the deal was done. Couldn't be happier or give a higher recommendation.

BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!My husband and I have been looking for a second car for a few months. We’ve had our hearts set on a Honda Element. Not an easy car to find. If you find one with low mileage it has a high price. If you find one with high mileage it’s still has a high price. Since it’s final year was 2011, to find a balance of a reasonable amount of miles at a reasonable price is not an easy thing because they hold their quality & their value, but we got very lucky. Not only did we find the car that we wanted with a reasonable amount of miles, at a fair price, in good condition, but we purchased it from an honest, fair dealing, straight-up nice guy who works with his dad and whose business was started by his grandfather. A father/son business. Old school, where agreements are sealed with a handshake.Mr. Scurti has years of experience in the service side of the new car industry and applies it by offering you SOLID USED CARS at a fair price. No haggling. No shenanigans. He showed us the car, going over details, bumper to bumper, inside and out, blemishes (the few that were there) and all. After a test drive, we were sold. We got a great deal. Mr. Scurti guided us through our end of the purchase and when we picked up the car a few days later he had our paperwork ready in addition to a nicely detailed car.IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A RELIABLE USED CAR I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOE SCURTI in LAMBERTVILLE, NJ. BUY WITH CONFIDENCE…we’re glad we did!

My parents had a great experience purchasing a VW Golf from Rick and Chris. This father and son team is professional and personable. If you are looking for a competitively priced and well serviced vehicle, check them out!

Imagine going to a used car dealer with no reservations, sharing your needs and wants openly and getting nothing but honest service and talk in return? This is the 3rd vehicle purchased from Chris in the past 3 years for our family. What was different about the 3rd car was that we asked Chris to "find us" what we were looking for. And by the way, we were searching for the same car ourselves on the open market for almost 1 year. Guess what, HE found one. Amazing car, clean history, nailed the color and nailed the price! We cannot praise Chris and Rick enough for how they run their business.Buy a car with confidence and be treated like family!

Just purchased a 2007 Subaru Outback from Chris and Rick. It was a pleasure working with both of them. The process was easy and pleasant. I called on a whim after reading their good reviews, and their service far exceeded my expectations. They worked with my budget and limited schedule, and always answered my phone calls. I love my new Subaru, and trust that I have bought a sound car. Give them a call before looking elsewhere, I don’t think you can find a better place to buy a car.

I had a great experience dealing with Chris at Joe Scurti Sales. I found him to be open, honest, friendly and totally willing to go the extra mile to make buying a car as painless as possible. I will absolutely go see Chris when it's time for my next vehicle purchase

I sold an old car I was no longer using routinely to Joe Scurti Sales today. The entire process couldn't have been smoother or friendlier. Rather than just saying nice things, I will tell a short story about how it worked out: I had just replaced the battery before reaching out to Chris--the son in the father son team that operates this dealership--and needed to get the car inspected before doing a sale, whether to Chris or another buyer. Even though he hadn't even checked out the car yet and had just met by phone hours earlier, Chris lent me a scanner car to verify whether the car had completed its drive cycle after the battery change, a necessity for clearing an NJ inspection. I happened to be planning to drop off the old battery core at a nearby Toyota dealership and picked up a part for Chris while there. Afterwards, we quickly agreed to sale at about the price I was asking for, and I did the title work with his father while he removed the plates. Then Chris gave me a ride home. The experience was seamless, friendly and nostalgic of the way business must have been done in a glorified version of the 1950s--which by the way is when I'm told the first Scurti business launched.

I have bought both new and used vehicles throughout my life and my recent experience at Joe Scurti Auto Sales was by far the most comfortable I have ever felt. This is how all auto sales should be done. It was a low stress, easy sale. I could not have been happier. I highly recommend. They are super kind, fair, trustworthy. They are just all around good people and it shows in their business.

You know how buying a car, especially at a used car lot, can be stereotypically tough? Well, you won't get that at Joe Scurti Sales!I'm always skeptical of car purchases, especially used car purchases. I feel like the majority of cars I've bought have come with a terrible experience, leaving me with a lemon or thinking I paid too much. When I was in the market for a used car recently, I found a decent car at a reasonable price on the Scurti lot that I liked, and I started to wonder what was wrong with the car. I expected a used car salesman in an ugly sport coat trying to push a car on me that didn't have an engine under the hood, but a drawing of an engine, just like that early episode of Family Guy. (I also expected him to tell me the previous owner was James Bond.)I was immediately blown away by Chris Scurti's professionalism and courtesy. He spent almost an hour on the phone with me, putting me at ease and inviting me to come by and test drive the car. Now, you may think that the phone conversation was just an act to butter me up. I thought that as well, so I went into the experience with my defenses up.My test drive was not pushy at all. The car was in pristine condition for being 15 years old with quite a bit of mileage. After the drive, Chris showed me all of the things potential buyers would check on the car, and then some: we looked under the hood, in the trunk, at the tires, etc. I felt very comfortable, as the examination was very transparent. With my defenses still up, though, I was still a little uncertain. I wanted to get the car examined by a third party shop to make sure it wasn't doctored for the sale. But before I could even pitch this idea, Chris suggested the same thing! That was a welcome surprise. I had the car examined, and the report was clean. In fact, Chris double checked everything examined in the report. Now, I HATE negotiating prices. I despise the process and the psychological games we must play to ensure a good deal. I would rather just pay the sticker price and be on my way. After all, I don't go into a supermarket and negotiate the price of produce! (And if you do try to negotiate the price of produce, you should probably see a medical health professional.)I had a budget that was probably around $800 less than the sticker price. I transparently and vulnerably stated this, and Chris was quick to say that was completely fine. Outside of tax, there wasn't a single additional charge; the price I mentioned was the price I paid. I was honestly surprised. The process was quick and painless. It was easily the simplest experience I've had purchasing a used car. In fact, it was so delightful that I wouldn't mind hanging out at their office when I have nothing to do...that's how comfortable I felt!At one point, I mentioned how pleased I was with how they treated me. It really meant a lot that, during these stressful times, I could go through this process and not have to worry about any single part of it. I didn't sit at home wondering if I was making the right decision or if I was paying too much. The Scurti family follows the golden rule: treat others as you would wish to be treated. You know what they said when I mentioned that? They want to treat their customers the way they would want to be treated if they were the ones buying the car. I was sold.I don't write a lot of reviews or endorse a lot of products unless I'm on Amazon attempting to write silly reviews for products, such as when I reviewed a watch by saying it was such a good watch that it helped me defeat an evil monster to be knighted as the one and only Moon Master. But in a world when consumers can be the target of poor ethics during the process of purchasing a car, it is important to point out the diamond in the rough. This is the place to go for a used car, plain and simple.
