Would've loved to have given 4/5 stars, however an employee followed my girlfriend and I the ENTIRE time we were in there! Honestly would've spent more money on items if this wasn't the case! They had a jacket I was absolutely in LOVE with! But I could not justify spending that money after more than 10 minutes in the store. I understand being a small business and wanting to protect merchandise, but honestly invest in cameras or something else too.. becaude it was so uncomfortable trying to view things around the store with someone acting like your shadow. What was most disappointing noticing that she didn't do this with any of the white/straight couples, just my asian/Hispanic girlfriend and I. Get it together please. There are so many other gift shops in the area that make you feel more welcome

One of my all time favorite places to stop in each time I visit Lambertville, which is multiple times per year. I can always find fun, surprising, unique, interesting and affordable things there whether for a gift or for myself. Most of my favorite pieces of jewelry are from A Mano. And, I always have a fond memory of that purchase visit when I put that piece of jewelry on.

A few days after visiting the store I came here to post a very positive review. I then read the many good reviews and a few bad ones. Based on our experience, we had a delightful time shopping. There are three large rooms to visit, and I can see how staff would be prone to keep an eye on things, especially when they are busy. Nevertheless, we never felt watched and took our time to explore the many display areas. We picked out a few items to buy and enjoyed our visit. Very happy with the items we bought, thought the prices were fine. Staff was courteous and helpful the entire time. Wonderful store in our opinion.

It's hard to know how to rate this business. They have lovely things and it's a great place to find a gift. Having said that I am writing this review after having a terrible experience and I'd never give them a penny. I went in a little over a month ago with my two teen aged kids. My daughter and I looked around together as she was looking for a wallet. She found one she liked and held it while deciding if she wanted to buy it. As we continued to look around a woman working there came to ask what we were looking for. I said we weren't looking for anything in particular but I could sense she has her eye on us. I wasn't sure why but it made me uncomfortable. As we walked out the door she quickly approached and said to my daughter " I see you decided not to buy that wallet. I'll need you to show me where you put it" she clearly thought my daughter has stolen the wallet. My daughter replied she had put it down and wasn't sure where. The woman said " I'm not going to be able to let you leave until you show me" she followed us through the store as my daughter retraced her steps and located where she had set the wallet down. I remarked that she made us very uncomfortable and the woman replied " well this made Me uncomfortable " after we left I went back in. There was nothing kind or welcoming about the way this woman handled the situation. She made her potential customers feel like criminals and had zero reason for suspecting my daughter of stealing. Had she come over to gently ask it would not have been an issue. Instead she made a scene, caused my daughter to feel she had done something wrong and in fact made me feel uncomfortable as I window shopped. She was watching us the entire time we were in the store with no reason. A mom and two kids very suspicious I'm sure. Anyhow I'd stay away, this is not a good way to get business.

I cannot say enough about A Mano Galleries. It is the best spot for gifts...for any one on any occasion. This inviting store is filled with many one-of-a kind pieces as well as a fun assortment of treasures. Another attraction that makes Lambertville so great!

What a beautiful art gallery/store! Tons of gift options from jewelry and dog items to furniture and clothing. Specialty kitchen items, wall hangings, mirrors and bags. Look no further for a go-to gift store--for yourself or others!

These two stores, in New Hope and Lambertville, are exciting to walk through. They have so many unique and beautiful objects created by artists and craftsmen. They are more like art galleries than stores. You can find a gift or keepsake at any price point. The tough part is not finding too many things to buy.

Not only does the staff follow you making you feel pretty uncomfortable, they’re also unrelenting in pushing their seemingly OVER priced products. (Amongst other items, I also purchased a wooden pie server, only to find it in another store $8 cheaper.)Once you purchase, no refunds are given.Overall, it’s been uncomfortable every time we gave it another try.I am responding to the owner’s reply. I appreciate your input to my post. I wouldn’t have reviewed you to begin with if I was given full refund on my initial purchase. I was told at the time that it’s store policy to credit only with store credit.Feeling followed and overly attended to happened almost always previously to my last visit. I’ve been visiting your store for years. I’m just saying I don’t enjoy that uncomfortableness. The exact pie server for 8 less is at the Frenchtown Bookstore. We used it already so I’m not returning it. I used it bc until your response, I was told I can only get store credit. I’m over explaining so it’s clear that I’m not just unnecessarily complaining. But I appreciate you’re offer to satisfy a customer. Hence I moved up the review.

I love the cheerful, bright, openness of this store! The staff is very helpful and the selection is varied - jewelry, furniture, candles, home decor and so much more. Has a great artisanal vibe.

Always enjoy visiting A Mano. They have a wide selection to choose from, at all price ranges. Have always found unique gifts for others, and as a bonus, stuff for myself. Wish other stores would follow their example and diversify!

On May 29, 2022 3:30 pm the owner likes to approach children in front of their parents outside the store asking them if the forgot to pay for an item. Mean while mom is on line waiting to pay. I feel sorry for the employees working inside they are very pleasant. Lady if there is an issue you must approach the parent not the child especially when you have followed them outside.
