Between August and October of 2019, I was in prolonged discussions with Jeff Johnson of Camping World's Marcus VIP Team, to resolve problems we'd had with the coach we'd bought from them. On October 30, I received an unsigned email from the teams email address, dismissing the case. A phone call to Jeff revealed Camping World would not honor any warranties, either the initial one after purchase nor work that Camping World performed later. Based on my review here, on 12/27/2019, I was contacted by Senior Problem Solver Doug McCoy. We came to an agreement acceptable to both of us, and I am satisfied with the results. I appreciate Mr. McCoy's patience and efforts to resolve my problems, and my opinion of Camping World has increased as a result.

CONSUMER ALERT - STAY AWAY!!!! Worst place I've ever spent my money. * They kept my unit for 4 months * changed only the bulbs when supposed to change whole fixtures but charged for them * terrible communication * charged over $400 to "try" and diagnose dashboard light issue, no resolution. * broke cover to roof AC, roof now leaks * water entering from where they swapped the fan in bathroom * lied about shades ability to be fixed, told me need to replace * the awning they changed pools and dumps water on me I COULD KEEP GOING. You WILL feel robbed and taken advantage of if u use this place. I PROMISE!!!!

If you buy used, beware. They will disclose nothing! Even if you ask. They will answer...no. You must do your due diligence. Get on the ground and look underneath!

Is it possible to give a lesser review Our camper went on April 1 for washer installation which we purchased in Jan had appointment for three months, after calling each week to check status was told next week three times Arrived April 25 to pick up our camper with no washer installed and they wanted us to sing off that work was satisfactory and guy in office told us he didn't even know camper was still here! What a useless organization with no customer satisfaction. Yet sign in office says great service??!!! Where - at the Burger King across the street? Never again Camping world needs some serious help Marcus Lemonis- the staff here is completely unacceptable Manager Christ dodged my calls and put it in Meghan in the office? Really? Man up and answer your phone!

Buyer be aware! "Bait and switch" was tried on me. Motorhome listed at $75,995 became $86,000 within a week after I came in to look at vehicles and chose one. I was told a $5,000 rebate was "built into the price" by the manufacturer, but I had to use their finance company when it was listed at $75k. Then told "best price" was $81k. You do the math. They never let me test drive the RV because they were too busy and wanted me to come back just for that. I live 45 minutes away. Follows were practically non existent. Always too busy and unreachable by phone. Found same RV for 79k. No hassle, no b******** got the sale, not camping world!

The below describes my recent experience at Lake Wood NJ Camping World that has to be not only addressed but resolved for what we went through as a 3rd time RV buyer in the past 36 months. I went to Camping World of NJ on Feb 16th to get my Miramar RV fixed under warrantee, I then was told non of the issues were covered under the extended warrantee which I did not understand as we bought the most expensive warrantee offered when we purchased the Miramar. I asked the amount to fix all the issues with the 1 year old RV and it added up to $20,000 so I said we are better off just trading this unit in and paying a bit more for a new unit. Sales associate Michele Holland after inspecting out our Miramar as we brought it in to get repaired Michele said, "we will give you $90,000.00 for the Miramar that you can put toward the $144,995.00 Challenger." I was told you were able to get you approved for financing all you need to do is send you ID to Tim Cahill by Monday Feb 18 2019. I sent an email on Feb 18 2019 to Tim Cahill with my "Identification Card attached" please see (Exhibit #1) this email was sent 5 days before we went to pick he unit up. I went to camping world at 3pm on Feb 23 2019 to pick up the new challenger, I was now told in order for us to take the new coach we have to Pay $6,000.00 for all the body damage. Now my lid just blew Michelle Holland inspected the unit on Feb 16th and said nothing about this. I have $1000.00 deductable with allstate to fix issues like this on my coaches... I am not sure of the guys name but he said do not bother it's an extra $5.00per month in financing and being you're going to finance with us we will knock off $3,000 so for you to take your coach back home and go threw all this trouble your really paying $2,000.00 more as you already would have to pay a $1000 deductable with allstate so look at it as a convenience fee. ( Now why wasn't I told this when Michele Holland inspected the unit and or before feb 23 2019 being the Miramar coach was at camping world the entire week ) . When we signed the deposit slip the RV price was : 146,135.00 ( which was higher then website due to freight & prep we were told ) "Please see Exhibit 2 for deposit invoice" I was sent to finance, Dave Vuolo now changed the coach price to $152,135.00 The New coach was listed on the camping world website for $144,995.00 "Please see Exhibit 3 for website listing" then we were getting $90,000 for our thor Miramar trade in which bring us to $52,000 then add the body work $6000 which bring us to $58,000 then add freight and prep $3000 which brings us to $61,000 * Now where does the $69,000 come from? Also where is the $3,000 off for financing? "Please see Exhibit #4 for the fraud price inflation" When I was finally signing all the documents I was told by Dave Vuolo, your name Jonathan Cavalea is not listed as a driver on the insurance declaration page, I told Dave Vuolo, that's because I do not drive hence it says on my ID "Identification Card" Dave Vuolo said ok well all state is closed now so Monday please have your name added to the policy I said ok no problem. " Now again why wasn't this brought up to me prior to Feb 23 2019? I faxed the proof of insurance on Feb 22 2019" "Please see Exhibit #5 proof insurance was faxed prior to the pick up date" Here is an eail from Michele Holland requesting the insurance document with Jonathan Name listen AFTER we signed and had the new RV in our driveway! This is proof the staff at lake wood has made another error. "Please see Exhibit #6 email after we had already got the new rv " Now days after I had to miss a days pay of work go to the bank and get a money order for $64,993.92 drive 2.5 hours and give it to Lakewood campingworld. "Please see Exhibit #7 proof NEW amount proof we paid cash" Now days after I had to pay cash for the RV I received a titl

After months of shopping between other dealerships and Rv shows, I finally decided to pull the trigger on a new Cougar. -The selection was incredible! I could not have navigated their inventory without the help of my rv expert sales associate! -The staff (sales associate & finance manager) at this location made my decision and purchase process easy and enjoyable! -While I was waiting on paperwork, I was also connected with their in-house insurance agency (Good Sam Insurance), which saved me money and gave me a peace of mind knowing I was properly insured (I had no idea that there was a difference between rv insurance and using my auto provider) Thank you Camping World of Lakewood!!
