Every single time I attempt to use this pharmacy I am greeted with a nasty attitude by a pharmacy tech. I think there was one tech who wasn’t rude, ever, since I started going there almost 4 years ago. Last year, I switched over to an online pharmacy because of how rude and inefficient my experiences have been. Recently, I got new insurance and my doctor accidentally sent a couple of prescriptions over to CVS instead of to my new online pharmacy but I figured, whatever I’ll try CVS again, maybe my experience will be different. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I am a type 1 diabetic, a disease no one asks for and I did not cause, and am insulin dependent 24/7 for the rest of my life through no choice of my own. An order was placed for a basal insulin on June 13 and then again June 20, cannot be fulfilled. I understand that is not their fault. However, I had another prescription that is ready and I didn't want to make multiple trips to the pharmacy for whenever my other prescription(s) were finally available, so I tried to sign up for home delivery. I entered my address and that request could also bot be fulfilled because my apartment number (C) is not valid on their site, regardless of the fact that my apartment in apartment C. At this point, Im frustrated and call the pharmacy, clearly aggravated, that there are so many issues. I leave a message and they return it not too long after, 30 minutes. I answered politely, she said who was calling I said oh thank you, and immediately was met with an attitude and a “what’s your question.” My tone changed because I have already no patience for this experience. She did answer my question. Of course there was no resolution, not their fault, they don’t have what they aren’t supplied with. I just wish that I was given any compassion, EVER, dealing with them. I don’t want to be dealing with this, if I did not absolutely have to deal with a pharmacy I would not, but without my prescriptions, I would be dead in a few weeks. Maybe, these techs should consider that when they are so rude to people who are forced into dealing with them or otherwise they die.

Garbage Pharmacy. Most places get a prescription from a doctor and fill it. This CVS requires that you fill out an entire "file" of information (Name, address, insurance, contact info - pretty standard. Followed by all of your medical info - insane since the doctor that has your info already ordered the prescription knowing full well that it works for you.) first or they cant fill the prescription so it's 10 minutes to fill out the info followed by 25 minutes to wait for them to fill it. If you are in a hurry find a different pharmacy.

I usually never write reviews but i really felt like I had to. Very nasty stuff. I would never go back there again. I was on very important phone call and casher lectured me that she would not put my phone number in because i didn't hang up my phone. Avoid at all cost to shop there. Even if it is the only store open in town.

This is the last pharmacy in the world I would ever wanna do business with
I called the pharmacy I was left on hold for two hours so I got my disabled butt up on my scooter and put my scooter in my car and unloading my scooter drove into the store and I was still on hold and I asked them. Why are you not answering your customers who are calling you and they replied we do not answer the phone I replied, you’re fired

Just horrible service at pharmacy. Not workers fault, corporate CVS is a disgusting entity. They killed off the small pharmacies, now they price everything at least triple of Walmart. Under Pay and under staff the pharmacy; Leading to massive waits, and very rude pharmacy staff. They should be hit with price gouging and anti trust lawsuits.

The CVS on River Ave in Lakewood is the WORST pharmacy ever. My doctor called in a prescription for a pain medication on Thursday. I was told by the pharmacist (after being on hold for 38 minutes) that I would have it on Friday because they were getting a shipment of the drug. It is now Saturday and I have heard NOTHING from them. So I call again and hold on for 41 min this time. The female pharmacist who has the compassion of a dishrag tells me that it is on back order and she has no idea when they will get it. I asked her why they didn't just tell me that in the beginning, so I could've had my doctor call another pharmacy. Also, she can't transfer the prescription to a different pharmacy. The doctor has to do it. So now I have to get in touch with my doctor. It is the weekend so I'll probably have to wait until Monday and suffer in pain. I understand that it isn't their fault if the drug is on back order, but if I didn't call twice, I wouldn't know that. All they had to do was call me the same day and I could've called my doctor. That pharmacist is an arrogant, uncaring person who shouldn't be allowed to deal with sick people. I will be writing CVS headquarters also to complain about her and the whole pharmacy.
