Totally angry, the attention at that bank is very unpleasant from the staff that works there, they are not friendly at all, they are racists. I went to exchange my money and they always told me we can't come back today, tomorrow, and they kept me like that for a week. I regret having opened an account there. I do not recommend Banco America to anyone, they are very annoying, racists, they do not know how to treat the client. Just because I go to exchange my money does not make me less than the others, really disengaged. Just because I change my coins doesn't make me less than anyone else.

From the woman who answered the phone to the bank manager, to the young gentleman Mr. Mendez-Reyes, they most likely saved what has been a twenty six year relationship that the 1051 rt 37 location almost lost today.
In those years I have had mortgages, checking, savings, cd,s, credit cards etc And i'm supposed to be a premier customer
But yet when I brought bonds in to cash today after making an appointment, they refused to do them because they were in my maiden name. Mind you... Twenty five and a half years of the relationship has been in my maiden name, and they are the ones who did my name change six months ago. I had all my documentation with me ...ss old and new, stamped marriage certificates, license and my debit card which is still under maiden. I wasnt taking any money...all was being deposited. I did my research ahead what was needed and brought extra..and they still wouldn't do. With no manager on site, there was nobody to escalate to. They told me to send them into the treasury department, which obviously is a much longer process and unnecessary.
Thankfully, through the customer service line, I got a hold of the lakewood office and they accommodated me immediately.
We have significant cash flow Coming in and out of the bank as we buy and sell houses. We are finishing up our latest house and expect the cash flow in about ninety days.
The toms river location just lost the opportunity to invest that in the lakewood branch earned it.

ATM wouldn't accept a check deposit. Had to go inside the bank...no big problem

I just went in with a check of Bank of America to cash it and they're telling me that they can't cash the check and there was enough money in the account to cover the check because it's not in the time frame I don't know what the heck that means

Made an appointment for an auto loan. Liz was no help, she did the bare minimum. When asking questions she was not helpful at all. Would recommend going to a different branch where staff is friendly.

service is poor, was on the phone trying to get a hold of them for over an hour with no luck, at one point someone did pick up the phone, sang a little tune and hung up, really??

Terrible bank they can not answer their phone there is no one working there and can not cash a check drawn from their own bank. Horrible experience.
