Today I stopped in to Lynn’s store. I had not anticipated buying the gifts I bought, and I’m not even sure who I bought them for.. but everything was just so beautiful I wanted it all! Lynn helped me put together the most beautiful gift sets, she even gift wrapped everything for me. Lynn is the owner and she hand picks everything in her store, as if it were for her own home. I was not pressured to buy a single item, in fact I think she even told me to go home and think about what I got and who it’s for and I can always come back, she will be there : ) I had the loveliest time talking with Lynn, and I am so happy to have found this gem. Not only will I be back for gifts, but I will be visiting Lynn and telling her how much everyone loved them! If you get a chance to stop in, you will be so happy you did. Today, I made my third visit to Lynn's Home & Decor at The Shoppes at Lafayette. This outdoor mall is a fun place to find interesting items that you won't find in your typical strip mall. And this is particularly true of Lynn's.What attracted me the first time was seeing the spinning globes on display in the window. These decorative items suitable for a table, desk or shelf were unlike anything I'd seen before. Without a visible power source they appeared to rotate indefinitely as if propelled by some perpetual motion machine. In fact, the globes are actually powered by light, and they are fascinating to watch.But as intriguing as these were, they were not the reason I returned to this store. My return visits were prompted by Lynn herself. This is a lady who truly loves what she does and loves the customers she services.A visit to Lynn's is like stopping by to visit an old friend. You'll end up swapping stories about what is going on in your lives and while away several pleasant minutes in conversation. And even if you leave the shop without a purchase, you will think it was time well spent. Of course Lynn will be happier if you do buy some of the several unique and wonderful items available. But I suspect that she won't be all that disappointed if you don't. This is a lady who is in the people business first and the retail business a distant second.If you're anywhere near Lafayette, New Jersey, stop in for a healthy dose of good old country charm. I promise you won't regret it. I know I'll be back!

I stop in from time to time and whenever I do Lynn is always helpful and has a wonderful assortment of gifts. I always walkout with something!
