Super bummed about the new layout. And they got rid of good equipment, like the seated row that had the neutral and underhand grip that worked so well. They replace it with another iso row. Everything stacked on one side of the gym and the other side with benches is wide open for no reason. Makes literally no sense at all. And they moved the other cable set so close to the leg extension that if you are using both cables you’re going to be on top of someone else. if they don’t change the layout gunna have to go to another gym which is really disappointing. I actually liked the Lacey retro, now it’s unusable. Also, the new spray and towels are awful, nothing is getting clean just people wiping sweat off with paper towels. Need the wipes back…. And how do you have a gym with not one seated leg curl.

The gym has gone from bad to worse since the new owners took over. They got rid of the wipes and went to disinfect spray (99.99% water) and cheap paper towels. The new equipment is nice but its thrown in the already tiny space they have and everything is right on top of each other. People refuse to rerack their weights, leave weights up stairs and don't care about the equipment. There are several regulars who refuse to wipe down their equipment and the gym has been filthy lately....(empty water bottles, rolled up paper towels, garbage there first thing in the morning (so that means the night crew couldn't care less) and I refuse to use the bathroom. When a large number of your members are unhappy maybe listen to them. But when the landlord is a scumbag and the owners don't care....why would the employees care. Such a shame...its cool I'll transfer my membership to Bayville (it seems to be happening more).

Lowering to 3 stars because the gym is filth lately. There are dust balls and debris under every piece of equipment. They used to keep it very clean, but something has changed

Great local gym. The recent owner truly cares about his business and is always present. He has made sure it is a positive experience for all his customers.

Great staff and overall good standard gym. Only issue here is airflow it’s extremely stuffy and can be hard to breathe.

Everyone is amazing, Julie, Nick, Alec, Emma, Gabby and Jamie have all been super helpful, friendly and always working to keep the weights put away and the gym clean. You have a great crew there that are always in a good mood and that energy is infectious. It makes coming to the gym less painful on the days when you would rather do anything else. Tell them all to keep up the great work!
