“Excellent location. Yes, you can use this hotel as a base of operations to explore New York City. It is directly across the street from the PATH Train, and you can be in NYC in about 20 minutes. The parking situation is also good, and they charge a small fee which is a fraction of what you would pay in NYC. It is easy to get in and out of the garage. The service here is also excellent, the free breakfast is much better than the average motel, and there are 3 or 4 good restaurants adjacent. The quality of the room is also superior. Clean, comfortable, quiet, with a full kitchen, full sofa and sitting area, big screen TV, wifi and heat/ac worked perfectly. Nice bathroom with walk in shower. They also have good security and I did not notice any crime or chaos in the area. I commuted easily into NYC every day and overall had a great experience.Safety: Felt safe the entire time”
“My wife and I started renting in 11/23, after selling our home in nearby Madison, NJ. We love everything about The Ave: the people working here , the layout of our apartment, the gym, the available conference rooms, the grounds—everything. Also, the entire place is always immaculately clean. Today, Franco and Jorge from maintenance fixed our bedroom shades after my wife had a little “mishap” opening them. Franco & Jorge as always friendly and helpful, as are the rest of the maintenance crew: Olman, Luis and Omar. I was sad when we sold our Madison home. But now, I love The Ave so much, I wish we would have moved-in much sooner.”

“Stayed for a quick overnight before flying out. Obviously location was perfect, the staff service was excellent, on site restaurant (opted for room service) was delicious. The ability to order through the Bonvoy app was lovely.Rooms: The suites are large and well appointed with the best views. The mini-fridge seemed a bit out of place, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the room.”
“Check in was so east everything done the day before. So no waiting’s in lines or trying to navigate chaos like other hotels, but also no ridiculous high cleaning fees that you get with AirBNBs. It was the best of both worlds.The inn feels like I stepped into a Time Machine the historic decor is so well kept and preserved.Walkability: Everything you need within 3 blocks, but it was such a peaceful and quiet area. The subway was close enough to walk but far enough so you had no train noise. We even walked to a nice diner, there was plenty of restaurants all on the same strip.”

“Visiting from the western part of the US May 6th, alone with a child. Just after getting lost 3 times. It was so refreshing to have been met by a kind man who welcomed us with a smile and reassurance that everything would be ok. Eventhough check in was later in the afternoon he prepared a room and around 10am we were in a beautiful room, more than we expected. The bed was delightful and comfortable, the rain shower was soothing and calming, the in room chandelier light fixture topped it all. He was right we were safe, it was wonderful and we were treated respectfully. I will return to TRYP Wyndham Newark NJ, when visiting the eastern side of the US.Thank you Kind Sir!”

“I found a GREAT deal on a suite for our inagural "Girl's Weekend" at the Hyatt House Morristown! Every part of the process from check-in to check-out was easy, and we even got an upgrade! The suite was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchenette was well-supplied. I just wish the ice machine in the freezer had been operating.The included breakfast was delicious, and the convenience shop by the front desk was a great help.We have another outing planned in November in another town -- hopefully, that town also has a Hyatt House!”
“Wonderful historic yet modern refurbished hotel in the Short Hills area.. bar and restaurant is a highlight… lots of big businesses and offices close by.. must visit if one is in this zip code for comfy staying at a hotel.. bartenders are genuinely friendly and very helpful in deciding on drinks / food to eat… highly recommend and would love to come back if I’m here again.”

“During an unfortunate time in our lives my boys and I were living in hotels for about 7 months. We stayed here because the rooms were affordable compared to hotels around it. Their deposit is only $25 and usually refunded back to my card a few minutes after check out, where nearby hotels were asking for $250 and $300.The rooms are clean and updated with a refrigerator/microwave combo, 40 inch TV, heat/air conditioner. There's free parking and wifi. Walking distance from restaurants. They have free continental breakfast and free coffee/ tea all day. There's a small convenience store with an ATM near the front desk. They have a 24 hour gym. The room that wound up being our home for 5 months was perfect. It had a patio that led to a fenced in yard where pets or children can run and play. The staff were nothing short of phenomenal from the manager Kaigu (I know I'm speling it wrong), the front desk staff, the Cafe staff, to the cleaning crew. They were all pleasant and professional and treated my boys and I like family. The grounds are beautiful, it's the perfect place for a wedding, party, or any special event where you want the luxury without the price tag.Once they realized my situation, they made us feel welcomed. This place and their staff made a difficult time that much easier for my boys and I. I'll never forget the kindness they showed us. Now that we've finally found a home, we still consider the Wilshire Grand or home away from home. I'm so grateful to the staff. I'll never forget that in my time of need, you all shown me and my children that there are still good people in this world. Thank you.Walkability: Nearby burger King, pizza restaurants, ice cream shop.”

“Honestly, it was a great hotel for the price. Although the air in the rooms was a bit dry for my liking, everything else was amazing. Firstly, the rooms although a bit on the older style of design, they had plenty of amenities and were well maintained; furthermore, looked around and saw they were clean and there weren't any sign of bedbugs or anything like that. They have a good selection of breakfast options ranging from bagels to bacon. The location could be a bit better, but the service made up more than adequately for that. Overall would highly recommend.”

Luv walking in and seeing the room cleaned! There’s no rushing you out the door at 10:59am! No Housekeeping standing by the door. The Crowne Plaza is definitely superior to the majority of local hotels. Even if costs a few dollars more I’d recommend going here over any other local hotel. Keep up the good work and keep smiling! “We reserved the room block for our wedding at the Westin Governor Morris and both bridal parties got ready at the hotel. We worked with Charday and Christina from the beginning and they made a normally hectic time so easy for us. They were responsive, we were able to book a breakfast the following morning (which was fantastic), always kept us up to date on the room block and got us everything we needed to do early on in the process. Day of, we were able to check in early to the presidential suite (which was HUGE and well stocked) and the junior suite which was just as nice. Both doormen, Anthony and another gentleman who's name I do not recall were incredibly helpful as was the front desk manager and his team. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to book for your room block, or just to even stay in. Everyone was quite impressed. Thank you for helping make our wedding weekend that much better!”
“When I read the reviews, I was mixed but it was still a Hampton Inn. Ultimately, without too much surprise, it is a hotel that meets the expectations of a Hampton Inn. It was clean with very comfortable beds, with a large, larger than average standard room. It was also well decorated with a large comfortable dining room and the lunch was good! The only thing missing from this hotel is a swimming pool”

Rooms: Rooms specially the beds arecomfortable.linens are very clean.if you left your toiletries at home is okay hotel provides quality products. Last but not least plenty of towels.
Safety: I felt very safe and secure.very quiet street slight traffic but nothing to lose sleep over.
