The staff is very nice and there are many samples to choose from and take home.Only down side, I requested two samples of tiles and was assured I'd get them within a week, but I waited three 3 weeks with many phone calls in between and what I finally received was the wrong samples which caused a delay in my order.We did end up selectig a floor and back splash tile from here.

I am complaining about their Saddle Brook NJ location. I am not making my review on the work done because i never got that far. I want to review the terrible customer service. General Flooring is a 3rd party to someone who has a contract with them, that i was using to put a carpet down in 1 bedroom in my house. After purchasing the carpet and wanting to be refunded because of pricing issues (12 hours later) i called General Floor and the rude manager, without me even saying who i was over the phone told me there would be a restocking fee of 20%. Fine i said, even though i didn't sign any paperwork about the cancellation policy. He proceeded to tell me he doesn't keep the CC info on file (yeah right) and to call back because it was too early and the system wasn't up yet. When contacting him again he then proceeded to tell me the restocking fee is 50% (that's HALF) of what i paid for the carpet. TERRIBLE! I told him i am NOT paying 50% restocking fee for something that i ordered 12 hours before that and it could easily be cancelled and i didn't sign any paperwork binding me to that sale. He was very rude and obnoxious and said he didn't have time to talk to me and hung up on me. I don't know how the installers are with that aspect of the job but their customer service is terrible and i would never recommend them to anyone solely based on my experience with the way they conduct themselves.
