The vet tech was rude about my dog's records, insisting on yearly rabies shots despite our vet's recommendation for a two-year interval. Waited 50 minutes for the vet, who spent only 5 minutes on the exam (I was the last and only client there) then wanted to take my scared dog to another room for bloodwork refusing me to accompany them. Later, they claimed my dog had fleas, but I found it suspicious as the flea dirt was on one area of my dog's white coat. Unbeknownst to them, I have three other dogs at home who are flea-free, it seemed like an attempt to overcharge. I refused to pay the total amount after they added unnecessary charges (always ask for an itemized bill). Checked with two other vets and the grooming place I take my dogs, and my dogs were confirmed flea-free....

went to BVC for twenty years and had the police called on me because I was tapping on the glass door with my key. The officer said the (so called) person in charge told them I was banging on the door and so they were called. I am 76 years old what was I going to do...all I wanted was the rabie shot for my dog but got told to leave and never come back. No one even called me to find out what took place....twenty years and this is what happens...shame on you...

Thank you so much to the vets and staff at Boulevard Vet Clinic for taking such great care of Dahlia over the years. She lived to nearly 17 years of age! You were also there for us in the toughest moment of all. It was really hard to let her go and we'll miss her so much, but we're thankful to you for making our last moments with her so full of compassion, calm, and peace.

Being new to the area, I was looking for a vet for my new puppy. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of going to this location. I am writing this review after documenting my concerns and sending them to the clinic itself with no response. I feel it’s my obligation, as a pet owner, to post my first time visit/ negative experience at this location in case someone else is ever looking for a vet. When you get a new puppy, the first visit is essential in establishing a relationship with the vet/location.IMO the location was dirty. The table was not cleaned prior to putting my dog up there. I could see Hair or remnants of the prior animal. The office / equipment seemed very antiquated. That initial “puppy” visit should include; temp., exam of teeth & ears, body , discussions about flea and tick prevention/heartworm, future vaccination, diet, etc.As an experienced pet owner … I feel the only thing that was done properly was the stool sample which was sent out, and the results were available to me a couple days later .Other than that, the entire exam consisted of the vet, hugging and holding the puppy . No exam. Then a tech (?) doubtful ( just some young girl who I initially mistake for the vet because I knew she was female and her reaction was “me a vet , that takes way too much schooling. Why would I want to be a vet ?” Either way she took her to the back room to clean out her ears . I asked Dr King to do it in front of me so I could learn how to do it myself, but she said “that’s not the way things are done here?” I could hear my 9 wk old puppy crying. When I asked the vet to please bring her back in and do it in front of me once again, she said sounds like you’ve got a real “drama queen” for a puppy. By then it was TOO late. Honestly, for $200 + I feel that this exam did not cover the essentials that were discussed with my Breeder nor did it leave me wanting to ever come back. My puppy was in pain due to whatever was done there & now fears any vet visit or won’t let anyone touch her ears. I don’t know how such a facility stays in business or how this can be OK for all those other pet owners that were marching in and out on a steady basis. Either way this is not the kind of place I would ever take my pet, nor would I recommend to anyone.

Good availability of appointments, reasonable cost, and good treatment for my bird. The only problem is parking. The municipality doesn't allow parking in front. Clients must wait in their cars until called inside.

Our 13 year old Spitz Mittel fell down a flight of stairs. Immediately he was yipping, whimpering and limping so we called and got him in on an emergency appointment. They were so kind and super attenti e and thorough without being alarmist. Dr Markowitz and Dr King are THE BEST!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Dr Lindsay & her team of office personal & techs have been very thorough.
