I so enjoyed taking a ride up north to grab some real Scottish meat pies! I have been going here for years since my dad lived in area growing and and my Aunts lived near. If you have never tried them you should. To me they were the original pot pies.

Old Scottish market in downtown Kearny, NJ. It has been around forever and they are doing the freshest Scottish treats. Go give them a try if you are in The area. Make sure you try the hand pies ! Mac and cheese hand pie also.
Originally founded in 1931as Stewart's Butcher Market, it continues to serve the community with traditional Scottish, British and Irish food from the same Kearny, NJ storefront in which it started.
