A local Italian joint out in the DC area sells salami by this place. It took some tracking down, but I'm pretty sure the salami I'm now in love with was made by A&S. It is perhaps some of the best salami in the USA! These guys know their stuff. Love it. You've GOT to try their products if these guys are who I think they are!

Wow! Dry sausage and sopressat are so good. Leaner than what you find in stores and better even than the imports from Italy. Fresh Italian sausage is also so delicious. Sal the owner is friendly and offers personal service at the counter.

I only see one review which is sad. The previous reviewer got the soprasetta online and didn't like it. Ive bought it in the store and its delicious. I find their sweet sausage the best Ive had. The hot sausage is more to the hot side but and not my taste. Im not much of a "hot" person for anything. I would recommend the breakfast sausage too. Nice for large families or 1 large family breakfast. They are only open Mon-Fri.

Bought their sopressata thru amazon. Came open boxed...not taped closed and meat was steaming as it is 100 degrees here. We were afraid to eat it and had to throw it away. Suprised that this company would ship in this inferior manner.

You can't get better products then from A&S. The quality and the flavor of their sausages are above the rest by a mile. I never need to travel back to Brooklyn when I've got the best right here.
