“We love little gym a lot. The space in Jersey City looks new, bright and spacious. All coaches we met are pretty nice. Kids really have a lot of fun here. They also provide camps (flexible schedule), parties, storytime, and parent survival night, etc. All fun.”

“Ruth and her team gave my daughter THE PERFECT birthday party! My daughter wanted an arts and crafts party, and I was a little nervous w 20 four-year-olds, but it was perfectly orchestrated and under control. The kids and parents had a great time, everything went smoothly, and it was almost like she's done this a million times ; ) She and her team were super attentive to the kids and parents, and minded the small stuff (taking jackets, cleaning as they went, handling presents, making sure no dull moments, etc.) so that parents could relax. 100 percent recommend Luna de Papel. Also, the goodie bags are worth it - still getting raves!”

“Atelier on the Hudson is a place dreams are made. Sarah and Giancarlo are an amazing team. We decided to have a wedding on very short notice and I stumbled upon Atelier by complete accident and it turned out to be the best “accident” ever. Everyone thought I was insane planning a full blown wedding in 6 weeks and without a planner but thankfully Sarah and Giancarlo are magicians. I would email Sarah multiple times a day and within minutes she was responding. I got to a point where I was like this is too good to be true but then the day came and it’s like they shared my vision and were in my head! Literally everything I thought of or wanted or needed they were 3 steps ahead and it was done. The place is stunning! Nothing like the boring catering halls we all know and love. Its views are breath taking and the atmosphere is so romantic and modern but warm and welcoming at the same time. The food was everyone’s favorite part! My husband and I are such foodies and very conscious of food sourcing and this place checked every single box. To the point that even our most picky guests sent us messages the next day to tell us how incredible every single thing they ate was. The vendors who have worked so many events said the same about the food here. Honestly, you can’t go wrong and we were soooo blessed that not many people get married in the dead of winter so we got a spot here because I can’t imagine having our big day anywhere else.”

“I went to the museum today, one of the so-called "Free" days, with my Bank of America card. I paid a $7 parking fee to enter the museum, which I still don't understand why places like American Dream and this place charge for parking! At the box office, I learned that my 4-year-old (!) son also had to have a debit card to benefit from free admission. Mine wouldn't pass to him. They gave him a $28 ticket (with a $3 library card discount). When he came to the museum, they also asked for additional money for the whale spot inside. Come on, you bought and sold separate tickets for the planetarium and cinema sections, but this was completely ridiculous! I think if you're charging a $31 ticket for a 4-year-old child, all of this should be included. So, I think it is an institution more interested in printing money than science.”

“I would like to review LSC from a kid's POV. I have been here in several different scenarios: * as a child many moons ago, back when the touch tunnel was open more often than closed * volunteering every year for e-Week (Engineers' Week), where I staff a table and visitors to LSC bring their kids to build models and play engineering games * bringing my friend's 5th grader to a regular day at LSC and see what it has for older kids * most recently, for the 21+ "After Dark" series I can say it was interesting as a child, but as an adult the ticket prices are stifling. This will cost you way over $100 to have two parents, two kids, maybe a planetarium show, food and drink. Plus parking. But that's how they fund their exhibits. Again, for your child, there are a range of interactive exhibits and touch toys (yeah, you may want to bring a container of baby wipes for your kid's hands to reduce chance for disease), buttons to press, math to practice, even live animals! My 5th grade consort found plenty to do, such as a lab where the kids dressed in white lab coats and walked through an experiment to learn that process. May have been both of our favorite activities that day. The giant hanging climb-through-it tunnel I think is off limit to adults, but it was open to us for "After Dark" so I finally got to experience that and understand why it's not for adults (tight corners, minimal headspace, no room to pass when it's popular/crowded). In the end, not my vote for a place to casually blow money, but a must-visit for parents or schools to bring their kids. Maybe more than once so they can grow into different and exciting exhibits. Good times.”
