Terrible employees. They are mean and never help. I have gone many times for different reasons and I always exit disappointed and frustrated.
You always have to wait in a long line to finally discover you can’t do anything with your packages/mail/passport or whatever.
In addition, the place is always bad looking.
Avoid this office at all cost.
For you information, they do not accept walk-in for passport purposes
For passport purposes you should go to the usps in Jersey city heights in 392 central ave.

There were about 15 people in line consistently. Very slow moving so be prepared to wait.

The staff here are extremely rude. They interrupt you while you are speaking, dismiss your concerns by insisting that what you are saying is “impossible,” and even mock you together with other employees. Almost every employee I have encountered here has shown the same rude attitude toward all customers.
Additionally, when providing money orders, they don’t have small change. I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Had the most awful experience here today. Came by three times to ask for a package that’s clearly deposited there. The first time asked for my passport. I ran back to grab it. The second time cannot find it. The third time the woman at the counter was EXTREMELY rude acting like she’s the center of the world or something. Interrupted me several times and refused to provide the service because I cannot present my lease??? Who the hell carried that around and why didn’t you say something the second time. Also I did have the notice left in my mailbox which no open without key can open. I was in the urgent need of the document. They are not operating on Sunday so had to get it done today or else I’m leaving for business. The whole thing is just so stupid and I felt deeply humiliated. Would rather toss my money in river than coming here again.

If possible, I would give zero star. I received a phone call to relocate my passport appointment, but they NEVER told the other offices about the transfer and NEVER helped me reschedule. They always give you the wrong information and directions. Worst USPS experience ever.

I had a terribe experience at this USPS location. One of the staff members, I think his name was Jerry (not sure), was extremely rude and unhelpful. His attitude was completely unnecessary—he acted like he was being cool, but it just came off as disrespectful and unprofessional. Customer service should be about helping people, not showing attitude. Definitely not the kind of experience you expect when trying to pick up a package.

The front desk lady was unprofessional and unhelpful. When I went to collect my mail, I was asked unnecessary questions, which made the process feel deliberately difficult. I was required to visit twice and provide additional proof of residence, a request that could have been handled courteously but was instead delivered rudely. Even after presenting the requested documentation, her attitude suggested she was doing me a favor by releasing my own mail. This was an extremely frustrating experience.

Very disappointed with my visit. Went in to return my license plate, but the staff was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I asked for assistance and was dismissed without getting my work done. Very frustrating experience — customer service needs serious improvement.

Visit on Monday, June 30th around 3:15–3:40 PM
I visited this location to inquire about sending a package to France. I unfortunately didn’t get the employee’s name, but she appeared to be of Indian descent and wore glasses.
From the moment I asked for pricing information, her attitude was dismissive and visibly annoyed—as if my question was an inconvenience. When she handed me the form to fill out, I asked for a pen, and she tossed it toward me in a disrespectful manner.
After completing the form, I asked what the next step was. She responded with unnecessary attitude, telling me I needed to address the package and state what was inside. I explained that I had already indicated the contents on the form. She looked at the document, mumbled, made faces, and continued with the same negative energy. I asked her why she was behaving that way, but instead of calming down, she continued to speak to me in a condescending tone—as if I didn’t deserve basic respect.
I chose to walk away, stating that I no longer needed her assistance. She then asked for the pen back, and I returned it in the same dismissive manner she had used with me—so she could understand how it feels.
This employee’s behavior was unprofessional, and frankly, unacceptable. She treated me, and even the customer before me, with disrespect. As paying customers, we deserve courtesy—not to be spoken to as if we’re beneath her. I strongly encourage management to speak with her and address this issue.
