I looked into Manhattan because it was too expensive, but although the room is in a corner on the first floor, there is noise when opening and closing the door, it is easy to move around the path, it is in a relatively safe location, and the bed is large and the room is spacious. The water pressure in the bathroom is so great that it is difficult to use the bathroom. great
The staff are also friendly.
Breakfast includes yogurt, muffins, donuts, croissants, and other breads, as well as apples, bananas, coffee, and orange juice. There are two tables inside and several terrace-type tables outside.

Not too far from Newport station, rooms are clean. Breakfast so so, if you are use to eat well in the morning have to find somewhere else. Microwave in the bedroom so cool. Not so quiet, you can hear the honking at night…
Nearby activities: Gas station nearby, where you can buy water , snacks

Small, nice hotel with free parking. In my opinion, very good value for money. The included breakfast is completely okay, unfortunately the seating is outside. The rooms facing the street are a bit noisy, but it didn't bother us.
It's only a 10-minute walk to the banks of the Hudson (with stunning views of Manhattan) or the PATH station.
The staff were consistently very friendly and attentive.
Clear recommendation.

This hotel just cemented itself as my go-to hotel for my frequent visits to New York! You literally can't park closer to the highway going into Manhattan, and they've just installed EV chargers (4x J1772s).
Great value, really nice staff. PATH trains are under 10min walk from this hotel, and the area is well-kept. No shady figures during our weekend stay.
My new favorite hotel for the NYC metro area!
Noteworthy details: 4x J1772 EV chargers on the south side of the building.

Hotel rooms are ok but unfortunately no windows can be opened. Breakfast tables only outside, breakfast is in a small corner at the reception. Rooms facing the Holland Tunnel are a bit louder.

The staff was great. The rooms are nice and large, but the bathrooms are a little dated. The surrounding neighborhood is very walkable as well.

Clean, tidy, spacious room, quiet. Large shopping center nearby. 10 minute walk to the water with wonderful views of the New York skyline. Ideal starting point for a tour of the Statue of Liberty. However, less suitable for destinations in NYC because it is only connected by regional trains (PATH), which no longer run after 11 p.m.

Stayed here just for one night but would definitely be back here. Super friendly staff, clean rooms, nice bed, close to public transport and nice bars in New Jersey. And all of that for a good price!

I had a great stay here. 2 words: friendly and clean. The prices were much lower than in Manhattan during the main week of UN General Assembly. It's a ten minute walk at a brisk pace to the Newport PATH. There are decent places to eat nearby including pho and carousel sushi. The rooms were very clean and much better than the average I've seen in Manhattan. The bed was comfy and temperature in the room was easily controlled. Breakfast by the front desk was good. Pastries were above average and it was regularly replenished. The staff was also very pleasant. I'll stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable room with cozy little touches. Fast food places in the area in fact they share a parking lot with a Burger King so getting a quick bite was easy and fast. The only issue is the traffic is horrible and they are doing construction so that makes it worse. The good thing is once you get through the traffic mess you are less than 5 minutes from NYC. The Holland Tunnel is right there. I would definitely stay here again.

Good value hotel near train that takes one to Manhattan easily. Also walking distance to great views of Manhattan.
The room was small but clean and fresh.
Perfectly ok breakfast, there was little to choose from such as porridge, yoghurt, fruit, croissants, muffins. Free parking a plus.
