Never buy in this store again.. imagine buying a few groceries that came up to around 15.48.. and that cashier girl raised the 10 and 5 dollar bills up in the air to see if it’s real… I should have asked for my money back and left the stuff there.. it was distasteful.. even if you want to make certain do it in a discreet way. Nasty work.

I'm happy to review this grocery store! I no longer live in Jersey City, but I frequented the store at least twice per week while I lived in JC. The owners are kind and the groceries are fresh and the store is so organized and CLEAN.

NEVER again I am going to this store. I am glad someone else already wrote about this security plain clothes black guy who follows people around, thinking everyone is a thief. In addition to checking his video cameras in the front entrance, He follows people around all the time, men, women, young, elderly, mothers with children, black, white, Asian, etc....everyone. I have seen it with my own eyes how he behaves. And this is not even a big store, only has 5 short ailes, and yet this tall skinny blk security plain clothing guy follows us. So uncomfortable to be shopping in a place like that when they behave in such unethical way. He should be gone, but then again, he is probably doing what the owner is telling him, but he should know better. Treat others the way u like to be treated. This store is not even worthy guys, the prices are high, overpriced and poor quality, especially in the produce section. They even had to close their deli section because no one was going there to buy their cold cuts. My main complaint on this review is the inappropriate following of this blk security guy. Someone should film him and put it on social media so everyone can see how they treat their customers there.

There are fresh sheet cakes and muffins there. A little bit of everything else, whether milk, fruit and vegetables or meat.

The owner lied and said he takes the U benefits card, but when I got there, he didn't use the machine correctly. He wasn't transparent about the price he charged me, didn't give me a receipt. The food is very overpriced, limited produce, a bunch of high sugar processed smoothies and drinks that take over the produce section. He could've used that to put a organic produce section. The place looks nothing like the pictures. Did I say the food is unnecessarily expensive? It is. I'm not impressed with this store.
