Rent here with caution. My unit was supposedly broken into, but I personally think it was Storage Post themselves. I got a text saying my unit was "compromised." According to them, they found the unit with the door open and the locks still on. Someone was able to open the unit somehow. When I did a quick look, everything was still inside (Thank God).
The more I think about it, I personally believe the office confused my unit with someone else's who hadn't paid -- like they broke in (which is their policy for non-payment) and immediately realized the error. Think about it... Who breaks into a unit and doesn't take anything? Again, good for me, but it's just incredibly odd.
On top of that, I immediately requested the security footage. I was told they were downloading it and there no time frame for when it'd be done. I asked at least 10 questions about the footage and was met with zero answers. You'd think they'd be some sense of urgency to find out who is breaking into units. Like this DOES affect your overall business and the safety of your customers.
The overall vibe was very much "hey, we gave you a free lock, stop complaining."

Kudos on a perfectly secure and immaculately clean facility here in Jersey City. Even better kudos to the manager on site there on my latest opportunity to rent yet another storage unit. Manager Andrew Nelson was super efficient and courteous throughout; helping me select the best unit for my needs, quickly completing any and all paperwork very quickly and accurately. I'm pleased to be a satisfied customer. Great staff and site!

I only gave it 1 star because 0 wasn’t an option. First off monthly price increases should have been my reason to remove my belongings. On February 17th I came to remove a pair of sneakers (a portion of my collection was stored in this location totaling over 8k). After a thorough investigation i received an email today (April 2nd) saying they are not responsible for theft. I literally just closed my account and advise anybody with expensive belongings to remove them. I solely believe this was an inside job, when I first opened the storage an employee inquired of what was being put inside. The police report was filed with the JCPD immediately on 2/17. I’ve heard about someone else’s storage being robbed but I certainly said it won’t happen to me. Don’t ignore what I did and just remove your things. P.S employees allow strangers to work on cars in the lot. Long story short don’t use this location.

I took forever to finally leave this review and it is long overdue. I have been to a couple of different storage facilities and Storage Post is number one they keep up with their facilities very well maintenance. If anything goes on, they put a ticket in and resolve it immediately. They also assist all customers and go above and beyond if need be, I had the pleasure of meeting Mohammed and Valerie extremely great people, very professional, and extremely courteous and understanding Tom I would love to give a huge shout out to in the office at the Broadway location. He’s always there when you need him always willing and able to answer any and every question as well as address any, and every concern that you may have extremely transparent and extremely professional I am very satisfied with not only the facility itself but the incredible people running it. Thank you guys so much.

Storage place, but not highly recommended due to the bad experience I had, the place I had rented was with boxes and other things bitten by mice.
Unfortunately I do not recommend it, especially because I have seen people living in some places there.
