“Joelle helped us to rent an apartment in Jersey City. As a native "Jerseyer", her knowledge about this area helped us - the new comers to settle here with ease. She always thinks a step ahead of what we might need. She planned/followed up with the bidding process without us worrying too much and kept us informed when something unexpected happened. A seasoned agent and very pleasant to work with, Joelle is the professional we trust. We will definitely work with her again upon our next house hunting in this region.”

“I work at 30 Montgomery Street on the 12th floor and I cannot say enough great things about the management team here in my building. They are always so attentive to our needs. They provide us with 1-2 free activities per month; free lunch or breakfast, free massages... The list goes on and on. Yerris and Alexis are such a power team and it is my absolute pleasure to be working in such a wonderful environment. We just had a pasta lunch and to say I am grateful would be an understatement! Everyone in the building is so nice from the security to building management and everyone in between! I simply love it here!!! 6 years and counting!!!”

“Most reviews here are extremely dated, and focus on an alarm going off when the building was still a new construction so I’ll offer mine as a current resident who purchased over 4.5 yrs ago and I believe we were among the first few.The units are beautiful and thoughtfully designed with modern interiors/ decor. Security is top notch. Even though amenities are fantastic, they’re being consistently upgraded (e.g the gym now has a decent weight rack which was previously missing). There are plenty of social events for residents to connect, and the building is extremely kid friendly. Building staff is friendly, responsible and respectful. The new(ish) building manager Chris is excellent. We’ve barely had any maintenance issues in our unit but if we have, someone’s been onsite to take a look asap. In short, there’s been no meaningful red flags to report after being here for quite some time (fingers crossed this doesn’t change). Yes I do wish the units were slightly bigger, there was more storage space, and the pool opened for longer vs just during the summer but these are minor inconveniences. Will also highlight the location is excellent. The proximity to the Path station (2 min walk) is a game changer, especially as I work in downtown FiDi and it takes me <20 mins door to door. The ferries are a <10 min walk. The Newport mall is a 15 min walk. There are a ton of restaurants and bars that have popped up in walking distance since we moved in so there are ample food options around. Yes it’s not Manhattan but after living in the city for over a decade, this has been an excellent “compromise”.We’ve had a very good experience thus far and thought it was worth writing this review for those exploring and looking to rent/ buy. Would highly recommend 10 Provost. As homeowners in the building, we’re happy with how things have worked out since we took the plunge. Hope this helps.”

“To Ms. Sarah Adam, this is my response to your colorful review, even though I wholeheartedly accept your interpretation of things. You went around the original broker you were using, of which you lied and said you couldn’t remember her name—because you couldn’t get what you wanted from her, a low-ball offer on an apartment that I guess wasn’t in your price range (something you shouldn’t have requested a showing for, in that case). That original broker was a broker in my office and you willingly chose to disrespect her and her time. You and I then went through our process and multiple, tedious renegotiation attempts and subsequently withdrawing your accepted application as a tenant to protect my client from your irrational combativeness and attitude, something I didn’t want him to have to deal with as a Landlord, and after you clearly showing yourself as not being a serious applicant, as well as trying to last minute con for a lower rent the night before we were to meet, after your accepted rent price that I got lowered for you initially, lying to the owner of another unit, saying, and I quote, “I haven’t committed to anything, I’m still viewing”—when in actuality, my client had accepted your application and you had committed to bringing checks to SECURE THE UNIT, as per the unbelievably extensive and thorough email I sent you about exactly how the process would go—OF WHICH YOU GAVE NO REBUTTAL WHATSOEVER.After I withdrew your acceptance, that of which was emphatically appreciated by my client when he knew the full scope of our process together, you somehow magically remembered the name/contact information of the original broker you circumvented, and somehow thought it possible, appropriate or plausible, that you could put an offer in through her. Both myself and colleague were appalled by your behavior, lack of respect and seemingly entire disregard for our profession. That is not just based on how you behaved with me, but also how you behaved with her.My fiduciary and ethical duty is first and foremost to my client, with whom I have an agency agreement with. That was the Landlord of this unit, not you. Respectfully, I hope you will examine your behavior moving forward and not blame other people. I stand behind my decisions, the protection of my client and the respect of my fellow colleague in my office.Best of luck in the future.”
