Just renewed my lease here for the fourth year and I never want to leave. The staff is the absolute best and are so responsive and eager to help out with every ask! The building is always kept so clean and maintenance is up to date throughout. The team was so helpful when I requested my walls be painted and got a team in the next day. Big big shout out to Manny, Valentin, Efren, the leasing, maintenance, and doorman staff!!! Everyone is truly so kind and helpful. Thanks Modera team.

We’ve been at Modera for almost two years now, and Val has been our go to person for any of our needs. He goes above and beyond to accommodate, he’s compassionate and just a really nice guy all around. He has made our experience here a pleasant and easy one. Manny and the entire maintenance team are amazing as well. Always on time and always extremely professional.

The front desk person wasn't friendly when I arrived for my 2:30 apartment tour - bad start. No one showed up for my tour, so I decided to leave. Later on, the leasing agent gave me a call, and he did not even apologize for not showing up, just asked if I wanted to still tour. Suffice to say, not a great a first impression, and I'll be looking to rent elsewhere.

Maintenance at this community is very reliable! The towel rack in my bedroom was very loose, and within a couple days of submitting my maintenance request on their app, Zach, one of the technicians was able to stop by and fix it in a timely manner.

Val is hands down the best community manager I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Throughout my experience at Modera Lofts, Val consistently places the building tenants at the forefront, demonstrating a remarkable commitment to their well-being. For the past 3.5 years, my husband and I called Modera Lofts our home. Over the years, we saw the great amenities the building and staff offered. The apartments offer a beautiful industrial look and an easy commute to Manhattan. In addition, the units offer in-unit front loading washer and dryer, with an in-building larger capacity washer and dryer units. The maintenance staff is quick to respond to issues, as is the onsite staff in the leasing office. The onsite gym, to which there are 3, is clean and fully updated. The building also offers private conference rooms as workspaces.While there are many positives to the building, there are a few issues. The package check-in process needs to be addressed. There have been some instances where our packages have not been checked-in or checked-out. Concierge staff is a little inconsistent. We've seen MULTIPLE staffing changes over the years. In addition, the valet staff has gone through similar changes.Overall, I would honestly say we had a greatly positive experience with Modera and would recommend if you're looking for a quite place, and quick commute to Manhattan.

Looking to move into Jersey City from NYC. Went in for a tour at The Modera Lofts and it did not disappoint. Building is spectacular, apartments are sophisticated but with a touch of that rough ambience you look for sometimes. The exposed beams and high ceilings give you just that. There is space for entertaining guests as well, which is exactly what we are looking for. The amenities are also a big plus. The leasing staff (Joel) was very informative, helpful and extremely nice. He definitely knows the area very well which helped us greatly since we are out of towners. Definitely considering this as our future home. Joel, you will definitely hear from us soon very soon! Thank you again.

I love living at Modera Lofts! The location is top, the building and common areas are terrific, my apartment is fantastic, and the people who work at Modera are awesome! Val, Bear, Manny, Valerie and the rest of the Modera staff truly make me feel like a valued resident of the Modera community. It ain't Kansas, but it sure feels like home.

Stunning apartment complex with great atmosphere. Incredible staff, especially those in the leasing office who make the experience unforgettable! They were extremely kind and friendly while making the place feel like a new home. First walking in the complex, it smelt like fresh linen and was cleaner than any of the other complexes. All units and amenities shown were in fantastic shape with easy access. Thank you for the best experience!

I recently stayed in the guest suite where my mom lives, and it was a fantastic experience. The property itself is beautiful, and its location is amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to others.

Higher rents, good amenities, but poor apartment qualities.Super-thin walls will disturb your sleep every morning. You can hear personal noises at midnight. Like hotel California, you’ll be able to come when you want, but you won’t be able to leave - because they’ll bury you with abandonment fees, nor will help you to get your issues resolved.Jacquey at the management office does a poor job at resolving issues.

If you are looking to rent in jersey city, stay away from Modera lofts. Packages get lost and the concierge (when you can find one) shrugs and says, it happens. They installed new key fobs that do not work. I've been locked out of my apt and the entire building. And I pay almost 3500 for a one bed. Lastly, it flooded a week ago. Still no word on when we're allowed back in. I believe there will still be mold even though they say there won't be. My closet had standing water in it and a week later, there are no fans in there nor has anyone checked on that area. Emails to mgmt go unanswered. Worst property I've ever lived in. Move in anywhere but here.

I will continue to update this review. I've heard the rent INCREASE is ridiculous and I can't wait to see how much they will increase mine.This place has really lost its luster. Renters continue to not follow the rules - trash being left in the hallways all day, days where the hallways are not vacuumed, the continuing issues with the elevators and the smokers.My most major issue, They say it's a smoke-free building, but I can smell smoke. Since the walls are thin, not sure if it is coming from the units above or below or on either side of me, or beyond. Smokers are constantly smoking on the front porch, front steps, the loading dock, in front of the garage, and just throwing their cigarette butts everywhere. I once parked my car in front of the building and the next day saw cigarette butts (MULTIPLE) on the roof of my car. Not cool.The walls are thin so hearing the neighbors talk, argue, and other things, although sometimes entertaining, gets irritating really fast. The brick wall gives it a unique feel, but the dust from it so annoying, I run the Roomba everyday.Nothing has changed.reddit.com/comments/12ey…And just got an email that someone broke into the building and assaulted a staff member. I'm out of here.Half the building from 8 through the garage has been flooded. Check out the threads on Reddit!The amenities are not kept up or the residents don't care about them, or both. The office spaces and conference rooms are often left dirty and the internet doesn't reach.Over the summer, the roof has really declined with the grills not cleaned, trash left behind, and the TVs have not worked.
