Madame Claude Wine was an amazing resource for my fiancee and I as we choose wines for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Alex, Madame Claude's manager, arranged a tasting and provided informative and interesting notes about each wine we tried. From the comprehensive tasting, she helped us to select wines - red, white and champagne - that would appeal to a diverse group. As a side note, I especially love how each wine in the store has a great descriptions. They are very helpful when selecting varietals with which I am unfamiliar, but interested to try. I"ll be back, Madame Claude, whether I am hosting friends or simply looking for something to open during the week.

After the renovation the prices are WAY better than they used to be. I really enjoy the selection here since they have good representations across the world.

I was in the neighborhood recently and stopped in to this inviting wine shop. As a wine Francophile, I found a very nice selection from notable as well as up and coming regions. The young lady running the shop, Alex, was most helpful with useful commentary to my inquiries. I also learned of some of the new ownership plans to make this the "Grand Cru" wine venue in the area. A first rate shop.

I was a long time fan of this wine store. New owners have lost some of the personality and selection. Price points are high and personal storytelling missing. Fingers crossed that it turns around.

New owners as of 11/22/22.So far the selection still needs to be tweaked. Purchased two bottles and was not impressed. I'll give them time to settle in. Their prices are high for the quality. I want them to do well but only time and more importantly, a good wine rep will decide their future. A few more recognizable, commercial brands would help. Their white selection needs help, too. Small inventory.

Stopped in over the weekend after stumbling upon the grand re-opening. As an inexperienced wine drinker I usually rely on the staff for recommendations and I hit the jackpot with Alexandra, the woman running the shop. Not sure if she’s the owner or just a manager but she appeared to be running the entire shop solo somehow on a busy Saturday. She is super friendly and knows her wines. I tend to buy my wines based of the most interesting label but she took the chance to educate me and hooked me up with a couple bottles to try. Five stars for service and selection. Just hope she gets some help hired soon because she looked busy.
